For people staying in Tay Ho who do not want to shell out $100+ at the Sheraton or Intercon, the Wild Lotus provides a decent budget option in a great location where guests can find lots of restaurants, grocery options, and assorted shops within meters of the hotel entrance. Make no mistake, this is a no frills older property and... More

This was our first time to stay in the West Lake area of Hanoi. We chose the Wild Lotus on the recommendation of a friend who said it was an "OK" hotel. The location is good and it has many possibilities that could move this from an OK hotel to a good hotel. The lobby is cold and unattractive. Our... More

This place is horrible, it is damp, dirty and the room i was given had no window, so no natural light coming in, the beds look like someone has slept in them as everything is all wrinkled. The photos on their website look great but believe me they are not, after seeing the room i contacted expedia who i booked... More

Staid in the small room without a window. Felt like a bunker. Everything pretty moist. Service was very bad (apart from the girl in the lobby) It was around 50USD which is expensive in Hanoi. Not many cheap alternatives in Tay Ho though, so I suggest to pay a bit more and stay in a better hotel or stay closer... More

Recently, my wife and I spent three nights at the Wild Lotus Hotel. If you want to be in the Tay Ho District of Hanoi and on West Lake, this hotel is a great location. Otherwise, the only other opportunity for me to use the word "great" to describe the Wild Lotus is when it comes to the front desk... More

Stayed 1 night (thankfully) and unfortunately had a bad experience. Room was not clean (hair and dust in the bathroom, dust in the woodwork). The linen and towels have been washed in something with a very very intense lemon smell, like someone spilled the whole bottle of washing up liquid. hot water didn't work, nor did tv or the phone... Located in the expat area near lots of western food and higher priced Vietnamese restauants. Staff was very gracious and helpful. Only 30 rooms, so staff is also a bit thin. Breakfast is not buffet as in many hotels, but is order the night before and specify time to eat. Oh well that's why its 4 not 5. We had... More

No window in the room, it was not mentioned on Agoda's annonce. The bathroom was dirty. Avoid this hotel. Bad experience, and the manager didn't help. Choose another in Hanoi, they're are plenty f good one's.
