Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa garners appreciation for its friendly service, with many guests highlighting the attentive staff and their problem-solving skills. The hotel's cleanliness and well-maintained rooms with modern amenities are frequently commended, though a handful of guests find the rooms somewhat small. Its prime location is a draw for visitors, placing them close to key attractions and dining options, despite occasional street noise. The diverse breakfast and spa services are popular features, and while opinions on value vary, the hotel's atmosphere is consistently praised for its cozy and quiet oriental charm.

I stayed here for 2+1 nights during a 2 week trip around Indochina and this was by far the best of the 5 hotels I stayed in (including a 5* resort!). The rooms were clean and comfortable and well equipped, although the lighting was a little dim for me, even with all the lights on. The decor is modern and the hotel is well maintained. I made the staff aware that the safety deposit box wasn’t working on my first visit and received an immediate apology from the manager and was given a room upgrade when we returned from an overnight Halong Bay trip, with the manager personally checking everything in my second room was ok. The manager’s professional and attentive manner was reflected in all of the hotel staff - one young lady from reception spent 10-15 minutes talking to my Mum while she was stood outside getting fresh air one morning and on the first evening the reception staff warned me to take care of my bag during the busy night market.
The breakfast choice was good for such a small hotel and included a mix of local and Western food. The food was tasty and service was quick and again all staff were friendly. All speaking at least a little English.
The location of the hotel was excellent, a couple of minutes walk away from Ho Hoan Kiem lake and in the old quarter.
I definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

Oriental Suites hotel has exceeded our expectations, especially in terms of a service level. Literally, the staff did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable: we loved the tours organized by hotel for us (Ninh Binh and Halong bay tours were very well planned and very comfortable as well); they helped us with a taxi booking to reach an airport in time and with any question we had on a way.
We enjoyed hotel SPA center a lot - good quality and a very reasonable pricing for a hotel.
Hotel itself is located in a very central location, so many of Hanoi attractions are in a walking distance. That was pretty convenient.

What can be improved:
Breakfast is ok, but not an outstanding one - could be more choices offered. Actually a restaurant was not working during our stay (only for breakfast), which can be improved, as you are sometimes tired after a full day out and might not be willing to search for a dinner option outside in a city.

This was my first visit to Vietnam, and Hanoi was the first stop.
I stayed at the Oriental Suites Hotel and Spa for 3 nights, then went to Ha Long Bay on a tour they arranged, then returned to the OSH for one more night before leaving Hanoi.
On a scale of 1 to 5, I rate this hotel a 6!! It is really great in every way. The staff are so friendly, nice, helpful and extremely professional...and they always greet you with a genuine big smile. The room is elegant and clean, and the bed very comfortable - yet the price is very reasonable and not expensive.

The breakfasts are delicious. The location is perfect, in the heart of the Old Quarter and a one minute walk to the lake which is a great place to walk, sit, visit the Pagoda, and just hang out and watch everything go by. It is 5 seconds from the Night Market that happens right outside the door (my room was quiet and could not hear anything from the street noise from the motorbikes or Night Market). Their suggestions and directions on places to visit (museums, etc) and places to eat were excellent as well. When the travel website made a big mistake on my flight reservation information when I was about to leave Hanoi, Lucy of the hotel staff was incredibly helpful, called the airline directly and got everything straightened out for me, with a smile.
This was the best hotel experience I ever had.

Oriental Suites was an amazing stay in the heart of Hanoi. I am still in awe of this place in the Old Quarter. The hotel is bang in the center of the city in the midst of the night market on weekends. Nothing is too far from here.

The hotel staff is the most caring I have ever seen, much more than the ultra luxury hotels you stay at. They make sure you have a comfortable stay and go to any extent to ensure this.

Starting with the room, we were upgraded to a city view room with balcony which just felt quaint to relax our nerves after having come here on the first day of our visit to Vietnam. You have all the amenities in the room and the room is spacious. You can spend hours sitting by the balcony watching the daily life pass by.

We only had breakfast at the restaurant and it was amazing. There were multi cuisine options to cater to different palates and even the healthy peeps out there. The Passion Fruit Mousse was just delicious.

The hotel staff were also kind enough to keep our bags at the reception after 2 days of our visit, before catching a train further to Sa Pa.

If you want the best of luxury, boutique stay, hospitality and amazing food, stay nowhere else but here!

Highly highly recommended!!

Stayed here as part of our Tui southeast asia essentials tour. 2 nights then one night in Halong Bag before returning foe one final night. Reception staff and manager were excellent, all spoke good English and always greeted you with a smile. It's a very narrow hotel between other similar buildings only one room and a corridor wide so no outside windows in the rooms. However the rooms are well appointed with good A/C, tea and coffee making, free bottled water and a minibar as well a hair drier, TV and the usual complementary toiletries. My only criticism is the rooms could do with a few draws and bedside tables. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, burgers and various other things cooked to order. Cereals, yogurts, fruit and various hot asian dishes were also available as well as bacon etc. the waitresses were very efficient and again had a good grasp of English.
The hotel itself is well placed if you want to sample Hanoi shops, street food, restaurants and about 100metres from the beautiful Hoan Kiem lake where you can visit the temple on the island and the water puppet theatre. The hotel looked after our cases while we were away for the one night on a boat in Halong Bay. A very well run clean hotel in an excellent position which I would recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at the OSH in Hanoi. I was staying by myself, and the hotel staff took great care of me (particularly Sarah) - giving me tips for avoiding pickpockets, helping me to cross the road to a taxi and even packing me a snack when I had to leave early to catch my flight and miss breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Firstly il start by congratulating Hannah and the team for all their help, assistance and guidance during our split 3 nights here.
Unfortunately there was an issue with our original booking for interconnecting rooms but no problem Hannah did her best to sort it out with options offered, which was fine.
Hannah and the team also sorted out and kept a very close eye on our trip to Halon Bay which we booked through the hotel as part of our package. Our package included all transfers to Halon Bay and to/from the airport.
Our trip To Halon Bay (V Spirit Cruises) was pushed back by 1 day due to a typhoon again no problem, rearrangements were made and the trip was thoroughly enjoyed by the family.
Breakfast is really good here with all accommodated for all and lots of advice is given by the front desk on where and when to go to the various tourist places around Hanoi.
Rooms are all really nice with good wifi (important for an 11yr old) & hotel cannot be faulted, it’s central location is easy to navigate with lots of very good cheap shopping on the doorstep. Speaking of on the doorstep, enjoy the late night karaoke and Dj by the locals your in for a treat.
Well done Hannah and team,
Thank-you.

Our 3 week trip in Vietnam/Cambodia started in Hanoi. We arrived at 6am and of course, our room was not ready, but they kindly allowed us a room to shower and dress for the day. The front staff was very welcoming every time we entered, and incredibly helpful. Our tours were always confirmed by Lucy, and whenever our tour guide came to pick us up, someone from the hotel would escort us to our ride, car, bus, etc---stop traffic for us to cross the street, and overall, just very caring and full of class and kind touches. The breakfast was excellent and abundant with choices and quality food.

This hotel is a must. The location is PERFECT, bars/restaurant/ tourist activity all within a short walk. Everything you need is right here. I could not fault the staff of this hotel who go above and beyond to ensure you have the perfect stay. I recommend spending the little extra and getting a room with a window as I stayed in both of the room types and the window option is massive with the biggest king bed I have ever seen. Words can not describe the staff of this hotel, Thomas the hotel manager is a true asset and his team follow suit. No task is too big for them and they will do everything in their power to ensure you have a wonderful time in Vietnam. The hotel is tall and small but so are all the buildings in that area. The rooms are very clean and nice and I would recommend this hotel to anyone I know. I loved this hotel so much I stayed 3 different times on my tour of Vietnam. Thank you to Thomas and all the team for everything they did for us and our wonderful stay in your hotel. I will remember your kindness always.

Oriental Suite Hotel & Spa is in a perfect location right smack in the middle of the Old Quarter, Hanoi. It was a breeze getting around the Old Quarter as all food, amenities and sights were walking distance from the hotel. For the sights that were slightly further away, it was convenient to call a private hire/ Grab to pick you up. The staff led by hotel manager Thomas were very warm in taking care of guest and guest concerns so I'll definitely give this hotel a two thumbs up for service standards. Breakfast food spread was very good and food came warm and hot. They had a buffet spread as well as a buffet ala carte menu to choose from. Day trips planned together with the Hotel's 3rd party providers were very good as well. Well prepared and professional in terms of service standards and cleanliness and efficiency. Hotel (two-way) pick-up was efficient and effective and on-time. Kudos to the Hotel.
