Chose this hotel based on reviews as was looking at another hotel for a long time but chose the hotel based on reviews.
Communication was good with the hotel prior to coming, I arranged airport transfers and also booked the halong bay tour through them with a company called genesis which was excellent.
Was picked up as requested from the airport, On arrival at the hotel the staff (Roberto Firmino the liverpool player lookalike) were super welcoming and inviting.
Check in was easy, welcome drink on arrival and information explained and other helpful things so we knew where to go and locations wise etc.
Room was nice, we arrived late and the red bean restaurant had closed but they called through and arranged for us to order room service regardless of it being closed stand we could order food, this was a lovely touch as we were so hungry and tired. Paco turned up and brought us food and it was special so thanks to the team for going the extra mile.
Hanoi is a crazy city! Location wise you are off a quiet street from chaos! ☺️ but the sights are a 20-30 minute walking distance.
Train street is a 5 minute walk from behind the hotel (be there for 6.30pm in the week as it comes at 7pm) so a tip for you!
For Hanoi personally the Hop on hop off is a good idea, covers all the sights and is £10 each so as a traveller I would advise to start early and you can get all your sights done. Along with Halong bay we also did a day tour to Ninh Ninh which was excellent.
The hotel is super clean and breakfast was excellent, room was lovely with a nice hot shower and a safe.
Staff on reception printed lots of documents for me and nothing was any trouble.
Whilst the hotel is lovely ... for me the staff make the hotel. There was not one that was rude or unhelpful- Thankyou to the lovely staff at La Siesta Trendy - wonderful time!

The hotel is located within the old quarter, which makes it convenient for walking to various restaurants and sight-seeing locations. However given it is in the old quarter, traffic in the surrounding streets can be a bit chaotic and there are many eateries with people eating out on the street at night. While this gives a flavour of the more 'local' way of life, if you prefer cleaner, quieter surrounding environments, then you may wish to select one of the hotels in another location (as there are several hotels under the same group across Hanoi). The room was average in size with limited storage place (the wardrobe has no doors and limited drawer space), but it was comfortable enough. Given the windows are not double glazed, it does get quite noisy at night and in the morning when the streets outside get busy with people & traffic. The air conditioner inside the room is also rather noisy, but we were so tired from the sightseeing during the day, we had no trouble sleeping. We ordered room service during our stay and found the food to be excellent, and while the price is inflated as expected (compared with restaurants outside the hotel), it was still pretty reasonable. What really sets the hotel apart however is the excellent customer service, the staff are always smiling and eager to help and we've been impressed by their great attitude from the moment we checked in till checked out. The staff at the the reception spoke fluent English, and took customer feedback seriously rand actively followed up with us to understand more. The 5 star rating is thus largely attributed to the great customer service and convenient location, rather than the room or amenities of the hotel, and I would be happy to recommend the hotel to my friends if they visit Hanoi.

La Siesta Trendy gave us a warm and very efficient welcome, we were given a room which we felt was too small and we were immediately offered the choice of two other rooms. The people at the hotel offer a level of service I've rarely experienced anywhere else in the world. Not only in terms of the quality, friendliness and efficiency of service you might expect to find, but in levels way beyond expectation. They really do go that extra mile and more. Every staff member from doormen, bartender, waiter, receptionist, cleaners, managers, were absolutely first class. Breakfast was superb, diverse, fresh and limitless. We ate dinner in the restaurant on two of our four nights, the food was superb. I can't praise La Siesta Trendy enough, it was outstanding, and the help they have me sorting out flight check in and boarding card problems was way beyond the norm. We unfortunately never made it to this hotel during our month long visit to Indochina. However, the proactive service and attitude of Duc and the team at Elegance Hospital Group was outstanding putting customer interests first. They advised us that the government was stopping visa issuance the day before we travelled and if they had not we would have landed in Vietnam and most likely placed in a government controlled quarantine process. We immediately changed our plans and headed down to Singapore. We had booked directly with the hotel, after much research, and as our holiday plans were firm we took a non-refundable booking. However, despite this they gave us a full refund. We will never forget this and will definitely stay with them as soon as we can get back to north Vietnam. This was customer service at its best. These are testing and tragic times for the travel industry and we send our very best wishes to all of the team at Elegance and we hope this blip passes as quickly as possible.

The Siesta Trendy is located in old Hanoi and although an extremely busy area the room was surprisingly quiet. The first thing you notice, apart from the 100s of mopeds, is the warm welcome you get from the staff. We took the lift to the 4th floor and our room was facing the street and the view was of the tightly packed houses that would give nightmares to a local building planning officer. The room though was clean and comfortable.
We joined a street food tour at around 6pm which was an eye opener and general baptism into Vietnamese Street food and its preparation. But all in all a great experience.
The biggest lesson was how to cross the road! Well the answer was walk with determination in a straight line, no stopping or backward moves and the traffic avoided you.
Breakfast at the hotel was good, not a huge choice of western food but hey ho, we did get freshly made omelette and the typical cereal choices which suited us newbies.
Dinner was again good with plenty of choice off the menu, but wine price was a little on the high side but again a good choice.
Overall a very good start to the trip.

We hadn’t had the best experience in Hanoi until we found La Siesta Hotel Trendy - and it totally flipped our feelings about Hanoi. The staff were so hospitable, welcoming, helpful and professional. Our room was immaculate with a contemporary feel and we were so sorry to leave. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great view of the city. It has been really difficult to find hotels that will accommodate our family (2 adults and our 9 year old son) we would often show up and despite having booked for 3 people there would only be a double bed and they would make us pay to upgrade our room and then charge upwards of an additional $50 US for a rollaway bed. So for us to arrive at La Siesta Trendy and have such a great experience for an incredible price with beautiful service was honestly such a relief. Go ahead and book, you won’t be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Siesta Trendy. It was perfectly located in the old quarter and close to the train road and good restaurants. The staff were very friendly, Trung and Hieu were two of the staff that we got to know during our stay. They greeted us for breakfast each morning and provided good recommendations throughout our trip. However, every staff we met greeted us with a smile, whether it was in the hallways or at the front door. The staff went above and beyond to help accommodate us.
The breakfast buffet had good options of North American and Vietnamese foods and we started our day each morning with a Vietnamese coffee. There's also a good view of the city from the breakfast room.
We then proceeded to stay at the La Siesta in Hoi An and our friends at the Hanoi location hooked us up with drinks at the Hoi An bar. The service is top notch and we highly recommend the La Siesta chain when traveling Vietnam.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Facilities are definitely above par - fluffiest pillows, bathrobe and slippers in the room, great water pressure, scrumptious breakfast with different menu daily. But the BEST part of this hotel is hands down the exceptional service by the staffs, especially Amanda. 5 star treatment from the moment we arrived till we left. Due to our flight cancellation, we had to locate to the next door hotel for the last night and she still packed us a to-go breakfast before we left to the airport the next day! Amanda went totally above and beyond and was very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay! We were actually sad to be leaving this hotel. Location is also very strategic - despite being near to most attractions in the old quarter, the hotel was located at one of the inner streets and so it was still very quiet and cosy at night away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi traffic. Will most definitely recommend this hotel.

This was our first hotel in Vietnam and it set such high standards for us! First off the hotel is beautiful, it’s modern and hip, the rooms are lovely and the beds in the rooms are fantastic. The breakfast that’s included is delicious with so many options for various dietary requirements. Linh, who we met in the restaurant, was phenomenal, she remembered us and my dietary needs the following morning. Not only that, after hearing about the next cities we planned on visiting she gave us her WhatsApp and has been sending us recommendations the whole time. She has gone above and beyond and we are grateful to her! The hotel’s location is also great, you feel like you’re in the heart of Hanoi and can feel the city all around you. It’s about a 12 minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake and a 6 minute walk to St. Joseph’s cathedral! I also recommend taking the car service to the airport that the hotel offers as its handy and inexpensive, our driver was very professional and dropped us right where we needed to be. I rarely write reviews but gotta do it for Bespoke Trendy Hanoi. Stayed there for 4 nights at the end of 2022. What a fantastic experience! Most large western hotels are outside of Old Quarter and I booked the hotel based on its OQ location and other guests' excellent review. It exceeded my expectation. Staffs are super friendly and helpful with special shout-out to David (front desk) and Hong (restaurant). Great location at the southwest end of OQ in a small alley, up to 15-min walk to all actions in OQ and 30+ min walk to West Lake area. The small alley is very quite by evening time, giving you peaceful rest. Breakfast is good and the wagyu lunch/dinner buffet is awesome and an incredible value. Rooms are not large but that's pretty much the case for all hotels in OQ due to the super high premium on real estates. I really enjoyed staying there and will return for sure if visiting Hanoi again!

Sadly no pool or gym. For us, we caught a cab to the Hanoi Club which allows full day use of Gym and pool and all facilities, sauna, spa and showers for 300,000vnd (roughly $18 AU per person). We even ate lunch there and it was lovely. We were happy to do this - it suited us and we found it a reasonable price. But this may not suit everyone.
The hotel arranged an airport pickup for me and I was dropped and welcomed at the entrance. I would contact the hotel directly. I am sure they will help take care of your father’s special needs.
We paid for the transfer service through the hotel. It cost $38 USD for the two ways. It took about 30-40 mins which I think would be about what most trips would take to get you to the Old Quarter.
When we arrived at the airport it was crazy busy, I was relieved to be met and escorted to our car. As it was our first stop in Vietnam I think I would have found getting a taxi by myself really overwhelming.
There are more places to choose from in the Hanoi area.
