Detailed Reviews
Excellent hotel and great value.
Check-in/out flawless. Staff are all very kind and lovely to deal with.
The hotel itself is very modern. The location was excellent with 5 different restaurants within 50m and most attractions within 15 minutes by Grab (Asias version of Uber which is extremely cheap $3).
The room came equipped with a kitchenette / cooking essentials as well as a fridge and washing machine. Note a wash & dry cycle takes 4 hours as it’s a combo unit. The bathroom and shower was heaven! Also housekeeping do an excellent job and keeping everything in top order.
Cocotte is the on-site restaurant that provides breakfast which was basic but good. The staff there are also amazing and helpful.
The pool was excellent and we enjoyed a couple of hours a day there cooling off from the hot weather.
The only feedback we have for the hotel which stopped them getting 5 stars is the bed was not comfortable for us. They are as hard as a rock :(
Other than that, our stay was excellent and we would definitely stay here again! :)

+1
This on the whole is a lovely hotel but sometimes it is more style over substance or practicality. The lobby is huge and stylish and there is a nice pool, gym and relaxation area. The pool is very shallow until half way up the pool where it goes a bit deeper. The jacuzzi only came on every so often, but was not warm.
The rooms are huge but the views aren’t brilliant and have metal over them outside. The bed was big and reasonably comfortable. There was a kitchen area, fridge etc but it took me ages to find the crockery. The kettle was in a high cupboard that I couldn’t reach. There are hardly any electrical sockets for charging devices. There was one under a tall table right near the floor but my adaptor just hung out of it. I stayed there twice in two different but identical rooms and in both they had sockets hidden in the bedside tables, however many of them were not working. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and big sink. Toiletries were provided in the shower but were not always easy to use. There was a handheld shower and an overhead one but I couldn’t manoeuvre them to change them around.
The restaurant looked nice but the menu was limited. The lunch menu looked better than the evening one to me but they weren’t available in the evening. I ordered an item from the starters menu and said I’d like it as a starter followed by duck as the main course. However they brought the duck out before the starter. I don’t know when they would have brought it but I asked for them to bring it first and return the duck afterwards. Obviously it had to then be reheated.
Breakfast was OK but there was no decaff coffee. Bread was a bit tasteless and you had to order cooked items but sometimes the requests were lost in translation.
It was a nice hotel but instead of all the fancy stuff I would rather be able to work the shower easily, have electrical sockets that worked and be able to use the kettle without putting it in the floor to boil.

Stayed two nights at this convenient location. Staff were very accommodating particularly Tunah the manageress who was able to advise us on eateries and places of interest, arranging a later check out and care of luggage thereafter. Room had a kitchenette which would be useful if one wanted a take out or prepare a meal. All areas clean and breakfast adequate. Would definitely use again if returning to Vietnam. Thank you.

I stayed at SILA for a year. I am very happy with the services and facilities. My room has 2 sections a living room and a bed room. There is a kitchen , microwave , kitchenware, fridge for me to do a little cooking in my room. Moreover , they provide in room washing machine. There is a gym at the ground floor with modern equipments.
The hotel location is in district 3 but it is very closed to tourist spots ie. presidential palace , war museum or the walking street. There are Japanese , Korean, seafood and Thai restaurants in the vicinities.
I will recommend friends who are looking for a place to stay as a tourist or for long stay.

we booked directly with Sila and was consulted by sale pic named Mr Dong who is very professional. He offered upgradable promo from studio to 2br executive which eventually we found very reasonable and took it. Sila Urban Living location is very ideal for an outing. You can have local beers with Vietnamese cuisine, Asian foods (Thai, Japanese..) and upto western wine & whiskey lounge / bar within 2-5 min walking distance. This spoilt-for-choice of food is the point I like the most.
For Sila itself, I found it neat, tidy and cozy. The reception area is big and fragrant, which shall make you feel very comfortable. Room is standard, not luxurious but very clean and neat. The swimming pool is connected with Cocote restaurant is very chilled. I let me kids swim while enjoy beers.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SILA Urban Living. The rooms, facilities and our meals at restaurant No 21 were all of a very high standard. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable so we were able to organise our days of sight-seeing around the city. We were with two other couples and we all agree it was an extremely enjoyable experience.

This was our second stay at Sila; the first was many years ago & I remembered enjoying my stay then. It’s still a good destination. Not a luxurious hotel but the rooms are large, beds comfortable, shower & hot water good, the staff tries to be helpful. Some rooms have washer/dryers in them - not ours, so we used the free machines in the basement (which did not work well; we wasted a lot of time running to & from machines which would not complete their cycle). Some in our group had the (for them) included breakfast which was meh. Since Sila is in district 3 nearby restaurants are less expensive & probably more authentic than in district 1- & I’d highly recommend the French/indo & Thai (tuk tuk bistro) restaurants across from each other & just steps from the hotel. Also, if you book this hotel in advance on line watch the pricing as we ended up paying more than 1 person in our group who booked much later & paid less & got breakfast included. Sila is not far from the sights and buzz of district 1 but you need to take a (very cheap) grab taxi to get there. I’d likely stay here again, especially if I got a good rate. We did not use the pool but there is one!

Nothing to complain about and what an excellent place and staff. Very respectful staff and friendly. They made our holiday enjoyable and one to remember. The staff also gave us some good tips on which places to visit and how to look after ourselves when moving around the city. In general it was a 5 star stay.

Our first time in Vietnam and this hotel was perfect for our family of 4. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the local family mart (small shop) and there is an abundance of great restaurants within walking distance. Very centrally located, safe and easy to get a taxi.

I recommend Sila Urban Living to business and holiday travelers. It is extremely well located, in District 3, adjoining District 1. I stayed in a one-bed apartment for 3+ weeks and having a separate living/dining area with a sofa and dining table is great. Likewise, having a washer/dryer is great. The pool is lovely and the gym is sufficient (no Air Con). The best thing about this hotel is that it is located in a street with so many dining options, day or night, but it really comes alive at night with a fantastic range of places to eat. There's a mini-mart around the corner, supermarket 2 mins walk away and it's a short walk to the War Remnants Museum and the Independence Palace.

Dear Junghoon Kim,
It is a different process actually.
When you (the customer) cancel a payment, i.e. a "transaction", you receive a receipt with the mention "cancelled transaction".
In the present case, we (the merchant) cancel an "authorization request". There is no immediate receipt as we must send another document to our bank to validate our cancellation request.
In all cases, and to prevent any "human" delay, the cancellation is automatic after 30 days.
Have you kept the initial "authorization receipt"? If you are not reimbursed on 02-Jul, you would need to claim at your bank.
Please let us know if we can assist further.
Thank you,
Dear Robert E,
Thank you for choosing us for your stay.
