We just got back form an amazing weekend in one of the most charming hotels I've seen. Ma maison is a charming old French colonial house with a wonderful host and family taking personal care of all 13 bedrooms. Although a little far from the "main" tourist attractions (opera house, post office and notre dame) you don't need any guide...

Our fourth hotel on this tour. This was a boutique hotel set in a typical local Vietnamese neighbour. This gave us an insight into normal life every time we left or returned to the hotel. The hotel room was very good a small balcony overlooked the street. The rooms were large an airy and very clean. All the staff were...

Living in the heart of Saigon. I don't think it's necessary to write the same as all the positive people. This place is perfect, excellent staff and a boutique hotel with taste. The area around the hotel is local and people are nice - go and explore.

This was our first hotel in a 16 day trip around Vietnam and definitely stands out for me as one of my favorites. In a local neighborhood with very few other tourists, spotlessly clean and the genuine warmth and hospitality we experienced really made this small hotel stand out !! Special mention to Tom who is so personable, friendly and...

The hotel is a very well run family hotel with excellent staff (all of the staff were just first class) that is about 30 minutes taxi ride from the tourist-centric downtown part of Ho Chi Minh. It is right in the middle of a frantic neighbourhood with very, very few foreigners to be seen (I think we saw one other...

We wanted to stay out of the city centre, so this was a very good choice. We chose the deluxe rooms which end in 1. If you have mobility problems ask for 101, though this still involves anout 33 steps. Breakfasts were good and the staff were extremely good.

This hotel is a welcome escape from the chaos in Saigon! It's pretty far from the main tour areas so you'll spend a good amount of time in traffic getting too and from the hotel, but in our opinion it was well worth it. Saigon is very hectic and it's nice to take a breather in this quiet boutique hotel....

Ma Maison is FANTASTIC!!!! The hosts and their staff are simply great, able to provide everything that one could possibly need - accommodations are excellent, they can arrange trips anywhere, know where everything is, will help with restaurants, know every ATM around, and take incredibly good care of their guests. Breakfast is very nice, especially sitting outside in the small...

It started with a bit of confusion getting to the hotel as we had to go through an alley first, thinking we were in a wrong place. What we found was a gem, nestled in an alley, away from the main streets. Ma Maison is a beautiful, quaint, boutique hotel built by French. Not only the room we stayed in...

We're very fortunate to have traveled throughout much of North America, Europe and Asia and we have never so enjoyed an accomodation as we did with Mr. Ha, Mrs. Long, Tom and John at Ma Maison. The hotel is a beautifully decorated family home filled with stunning photographs and guest rooms offering luxurious linens and fresh cinnamon sticks and lemon...
