Overall excellent hotel in convenient location in District 1 within walking distance of many places of interest and restaurants. Rooms were clean and well sized, staff very attentive and friendly to any requests. I was particularly pleased that after leaving HCM for a few days I was able to return to the Yen after the other hotel I had booked was less satisfactory, and got an upgraded room as well! Attractive rooftop pool and bar also very refreshing after visiting city attractions during hot days, with varied drink options and food from room service menu. Nice breakfast buffet with Vietnamese and Western choices in back lobby area that is 200K per person if not purchased during reservation. One small point is that breakfast ends promptly at 10 am when staff immediately start clearing all food from service areas, so be sure to get downstairs no later than 9:30 if you want to eat in peace with no polite pressure to leave precisely at 10 am. Comfortable and clean rooms. Good location. Close to markets, museum and reunification palace. Afternoon tea and treats with live music was a nice touch. Excellent breakfast. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Didn't use the roof top pool but the view was worth a visit to the roof. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights with my wife and the location was very convenient for us. The staff are very friendly and the facilities were very good.The breakfast was good also. We strongly recommend this hotel.

This is our third trip to Ho Chi Minh City, but our first time staying here friendly staff like Mai,Han Thu,Duc and Tho plus all the other staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is nice, and the afternoon tea is delightful. The turn down service is very nice. Once again, I have to say the staff are very helpful and wonderful. Our other family members who are staying here also its there first time in Vietnam and are extremely pleased with the service and rooms. Will be happy to stay here again

Silverland was a welcome refuge after a delayed flight. The hotel was clean, beds were very soft and comfortable, it has a great little rooftop pool which is an oasis after a hot day in the city. The wifi was great and buffet breakfast had a good spread considering the size of the hotel. Afternoon tea was a lovely touch as well. The dining area is gorgeous and like many smaller hotels the care and service were excellent. Staff were so friendly and helpful, email communication was quick and we were easily able to sort out an Agoda booking issue (not their fault). Our airport transfer via the hotel was well priced and when our flight changed, they had seen our email notification and were there to collect us with a smile despite it being almost midnight. Silverland is very conveniently located in District 1 near lots of places to eat and the big market. We will stay again for sure.…

Nothing is too much trouble for the professional and friendly staff here. They make every effort to ensure their guests feel welcome and empowered to enjoy this fascinating city of contrasts. The hotel location in District 1 OSS within east walking distance of many sights worth seeing, if you have leisure time. My room was tremendously comfortable and well provided with all manner of thoughtful facilities. The laundry service is excellent. I enjoyed the quality of the environment and extra touches such as afternoon tea if it happened to fit with your timetable. As a solo traveller who happens to be vegan, the restaurant made care to see that l was properly provided for. Loved the rooftop green, there was a gym too with decent dumbbells, which is not always the case. Special mention to all the reception staff, the doorkeeper and the rooftop green staff too. Would be happy to return!…

Taxis are very cheap $2 to most places - great when hot Nice cool rooms Very clean Buffet Breakfast is best we have in 24 days travelling Vietnam. Thu,Han, Thai and Duc have made our holiday special. The Hotel is in a great location. Easy walk to many attractions. The room was great with comfortable mattress and pillows. They provide robes and slippers to go to the pool. The staff at breakfast, Thu, Thao, Duc and Han all had a smile and were so attentive. We were welcomed with tea and candy on arrival in the evening. The Doormen Hien, Ngoc, Hung and Truong were always right there to help with everything.The one negative was that the stairs to the roof top pool are not well lit and with the floor being dark it was difficult to see clearly coming inside after being in the bright sun.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Silverland Yen Hotel. It is very well situated for sightseeing and very clean and comfortable. The food is good, including the complementary afternoon tea, and the staff are very friendly and helpful, including Han, Duc, Thu and Thao. We would not hesitate to stay there again if the opportunity arose.

We have had a lovely time at Yen Silverland. We were greeted warmly on arrival and taken to our room which was spacious and clean. The bed and bedding was excellent as were the facilities in the room and bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful with wide selections. Staff were very attentive to our needs. Complimentary afternoon tea each day was also very good. The location of the hotel is excellent close to the market and central district. In particular, we like to thank Han, Thu, Doc and Quoc who have made our stay here at Silverland Yen so memorable and who have cared for us so well.
