I'd just arrived in HCMC/Saigon and after looking at a few (grimy) places ended up checking out NN99. After reading various reviews of this place I'm a little hazy as to what people expect! The room was fine and not too far off a three star hotel. Clean, quiet, air con that works, lift to your room, great bathroom etc......

This hotel is located in the busy Bui Vien St of District 1 in HCMC and has the usual small frontage and presents fairly well. It is close to all the action bars and restaurants if that is what one is looking for. The staff are pleasant and helpful but they need to learn to keep their voices down when...

NN Hotel is on the right center of Saigon, it is on Buivien street near Pham Ngu Lao street, a famous place for backpacker & tourist. Room not included breakfast, but you can find great street food next door. Everything is new, very clean and friendly staff. At night you can go to one of club or bar or small...

Rooms smallish but spotless and nicely furnished. En-suite very modern and swish. Stopped here twice, once on arrival in 'Nam and then on the way back down to the delta. Good value compared to some of cheaper backpacker dumps in this area. Well worth $18US a night that I got it for. The man on the campbed referred to in...

stayed here 2N based on another traveler's recommendation. Our room was an interior room with one window that looked down into a little square opening above the lobby. While we could hear the lobby noise, it was mostly drowned out by the a/c, we heard almost no street noise. The room was new and clean, though tiny. There was only...

We were transferred to this hotel because our hotel had some problem and we arrived almost past midnight. At the tiny lobby was a man sleeping on a foldable bed...then behind the reception counter was the receptionist soundly sleeping as well. The receptionist insisted to take our passport but when we said we don't want to leave them he did...

We stayed here 4 nights during Tet in January 2012. It is a good hotel with all the basics. Clean rooms, bathroom, bottled water provided each day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are actually very comfortable (not rock hard like other beds in SE Asia). The front desk staff are helpful, but make sure to double/triple check if...
