Bed is normal. Wifi is ok. Gotta work on that aircon as it is not cold. Electricity works only when your own key is slotted in. Other keys do not work and not even a duplicate of their kind. There is a spa located at the lobby with many young ladies. Location is ok, at least is easy to get taxi around HCM.

For the price is a good bargain.

The room is as seen in the photos. I stayed here for one night and caught a flight early the next morning so didn't have the breakfast.
I liked the room - clean and good air conditioning, comfortable furniture. Nothing to complain about. The room I was in had a VERY small window. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Location is great. There is a fun place to drink (also serves specialty goat dishes) right next to the hotel.

My only complaint is when my Dad called (and spoke Vietnamese) to reserve the room for my husband & I, he was told it was $30/night. When we showed up speaking English, we were told it was $35/night. It's not a huge difference but it was annoying.

I stayed here for 4 nights, located at district 3. equipped with basic facilities ( towel, shower foam, shampoo) clean room but quite small. Moderate choice of breakfast, mainly oriental taste. Free internet at the lobby. Met friendly and helpful staff at the counter/ lobby. Quite difficult to speak English. Didnt see any bars/ pubs around. Caucasian not seen here but a lot of Japanese and Chinese.

Was here with friends, and it started of by our airport pickup, they sent a guy who spent 20 minutes trying to get a cab!!! And then travelled with it back to the hotel with us and charged 2.5 times the taxi price. Then they gave us a room which was large only the beds were small!!! An extra bed is of course extra charge even we told on booking we where 3 people. The room is noisy- something with the pipes and the street is filled with hookers. I wouldn't say the staff was helpfull... Avoid this place if you have a chance.

I have stayed in quite a few hotels in Saigon, and this one was not only the most expensive, but the least for the value of my money. I spent 35$ a night, which is pretty expensive for a hotel in Saigon. The breakfast was not good, and I think you pay extra for it. Theres no room service, and most other hotels offer room service at a good price. The rooms are tiny. I was also awoken several times during the night by people screaming running down the hallway. It is also not in a good area if you are a tourist. You can get a much better, modernized hotel in a better part of town for about 25$ or less. Don't spend the extra money here, theres nothing special about boss.

It seems like the room have no soundproofing. My room was at the highest floor which is level 7, but we can still hear the noise from the street. Image if you get the lower floor? Need no to say, you can basically hear the next door and the noise from corridor.

The bed isn't comfy especially the pillow as it's just too high.

With the noise and the uncomfortable bed, you can forget to have a good sleep.

Room come with kettle, but it was spoilt.

Cupboard also not in good condition.

The bathtub is not well fix, there's a slot in between the wall. It make the floor wet when you shower. Can be dangerous as it caused slippery.

Do think twice before you book please.

Room is very tiny, and I have paid for one Deluxe room of 25 m2. I don't think the room I had was 15 m2 big. we nearly had no other better choice at that moment because we had to stay close to our father-in-law house. We have 2 children and with many suitcases. the breakfast is scheduled at 6.30 -9am. and at 8.30 we arrived, we didn't have anything left, and the staff said it is not time anymore, we stayed 5 nights and we lost 2 breakfasts because of that reason. I was really angry. Finally, the receptionist found me 2 bowls of noodles so I will be less unsatisfied. May not come back next time.

Boss is a good place for business travelers looking for an economical option in HCM city.
The hotel provides free WiFi connection and good flat screen TVs. The rooms have a modern feel as the hotel is relatively new.
Th breakfast had limited options and the restaurant is something that one should avoid due to less variety.
Overall, a comfortable stay with value for money!

I had booked Boss Hotel on the basis of the two very good reviews on Trip Advisor available in November 2010 and some pictures I was able to find on the internet. First of all: I got a very good deal through Luxury Travel, a Vietnamese agency, therefore the value for my money was still good. I had booked three night with a break of a week between the first and the second/third night. Because I had read in reviews about other hotels in HCMC that the rooms can be cramped on 2-/3-star level, I decided to book a suite with two beds, even as I travelled alone (I like my space). The first time I arrived, I presented my voucher for the suite double-room. The young lady at the reception asked me, whether I was alone and then handed me a key to - as I found out some minutes later - a tiny (ca 7 sq. m) room with a queen-sized bed and a very small window. When I returned to the reception desk and asked for the room I had booked, the receptionist only reluctantly was prepared to give it to me. The room then turned out to be bigger (ca 20 sq m) but very bare with cheap furniture and definite signs of wear and tear (although the furniture didn't seem old). The bathtub was of plastic and badly fitted, but I'll not complain, for the price it was OK.
On my second arrival the same receptionist greeted me sweetly and explained that "unfortunately" there had been a mistake by the agency through which I had booked, that they had only booked a normal double room and that, therefore, this time she would not be able to give me a big room because they were fully booked; my showing her the voucher with "suite double-room" couldn't change anything. In the end I got what I had booked but for this I had to call my traveling agent and she had to call the receptionist. In short, the same receptionist tried twice to scam me not once but twice.

I stayed in this hotel with 5 other friends last weekend (2Oct-10). We were picked up from the airport by a LUX Mercedez car... I was quite shocked and asked my friend again how much we paid for the room. It is reasonably cheap, yet it treats you like a VIP. The staff there is extremely friendly. And we found that the hotel is really new, therefore all the furniture looks brand new , and I love the bath tub...

I got to admit that this hotel saved our trip, as we didn't plan anything for the trip, and it was raining like hell, almost flooding the entire mainroad in the city. But they offer a car-rent with reasonable price. Also they provide a driver and a guide - who turns out to be a very friendly Vietnamese and he ended up being a friends rather than a guide. He brought us to famous 'makan' places and seriously, they got a real good food down there.

So yeah, if you happen to come to Saigon, I would strongly recommend you to stay here.. Good price, and the service is five star! Cheers
