My fiance and I stayed here over the Christmas / New Year break on our Vietnam trip. Our impressions - small, damp, and unclean bedding - 1.5 star hotel. I originally booked a hotel in District 7 but ended up booking this hotel after it was suggested by a relative and seeing some good reviews here on trip advisor (and... More

We stayed at this hotel 3 nights to attend a wedding at a nearby restaurant and to catch a flight home the next evening. The room is decent and clean. There are a lot of good food around the hotel area so we did not have a chance to try their restaurant, even though their menu looked really good. The... More

Cheap and good hotel. Its worth to stay more days. The hotel should open the swiming pool and wider the bar. From hotel to go to market, center in near. Hotel should open more free transport for the guess to go to center every time a day. We will come back to here again.

This is the second time we came back to HCMC, because hotel Kim Yen is so close to the airport, yet only 15 minutes from downtown, we decided, after a few weeks researched, to stay here again. Everyone in the hotel still remembered us, and even asked if we wished to stay at the same room as the first time.... More

Just an over nighter before we caught out flight home. This was certainly an excellent place to do just that. The water was hot in the shower and I thoroughly enjoyed that as we had an early flight out of Phu Quoc. We were able to get into the rooms early and I must say that was a big plus.

This is our second trip to HCMC (formerly Saigon) so we preferred to have the true local feels rather than touristy place. We chose Kim Yen Hotel. It's very close to the airport, very local, yet, it met every standard you might need: -Clean room with abundant hot water, very efficient air-conditioning, and friendly service -Breakfast is minimal: choices of... Kim Yen Hotel was only 5 minutes from the airport in Ho Chi Minh City. The taxi fare is $5 or less. It was clean, comfortable and great value for money. If you're arriving late and/or leaving early it's a good option, and we enjoyed pottering around the local market for an hour or two. The staff were very friendly... More

We had an early flight so we stayed at this hotel. The location is great only if you need to be close to the airport. It's in District 15 in an alley that's very Vietnamese. The taxi ride from the central area is around 80000-100000 VND (4-5$). The service is outstanding! The reception staff is really nice and attentive. The... More

Outstanding service, nice rooms and a location very close to the airport make this hotel perfect for a stop over. I'd happily have stayed longer than one night, which is a good indication of the quality of the rooms. It's about a $3 -4 taxi ride from the airport. Be sure to follow the street number though as Google maps... More
