I stayed at this hotel for one night during a trip to south-east Asia. It is conveniently located just a few blocks away from the opera, the cathedral, and most of the main sites of the city are within a 15 to 20 minute walk. The room was large and clean, I liked the breakfast, and enjoyed staying there. While...

Really pleasant stay. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Great balance between being available without being over bearing. Don't expect 5 star luxury but rooms a good 3 star standard with served breakfast a change from bland buffet. I would highly recommend for those on a budget but still looking for personal touch

Lovely staff and decent sized rooms with cable tv and air con (a necessity in Saigon). The hotel was brilliantly located just a few blocks from most of the main sights. A lot more convenient than the ubiquitous backpacker district. Breakfast was basic, but fine if you've mastered the local breakfast of Pho, or you like an omelette.

We paid $40 per night and although the hotel was clean, friendly and in a good location I don't think it is excellent value for money. On the down side we didn't have hotwater on arrival and the bathroom light seems to switch itself off - but the hotel sorted this pretty quickly. Rooms were clean, bathroom included a bath...

Stayed at the start of our Vietnam adventure. Lobby is impressive and room was good. Reasonable breakfast, and very centrally located. Downsides was the windows were single glazed and there was a lot of traffic noise at night. Also, there is a large construction project ongoing next door (a new hotel?) which meant more noise, adalso made navigating the local...

I've stayed at the Spring Hotel many times since 2004. The hotel is clean and the service is great. The breakfast is quite good and the location is excellent. I think the staff are trying even harder to ensure the guests needs are met. The WIFI was excellent and remained on my entire stay. Christmas Eve is the time Ho...

Our arrival at the Spring Hotel was late at night, but we were warmly welcomed. The day front desk staff did all they could to assist to make our stay a happy one. The hotel is very clean, great service, and an excellent in house resturant which provides a great breakfast included in the tarrif. I would say that the...

If you want to be right in the heart of things but not pay 5 star prices this is the answer. The staff were very helpful, the rooms clean and cool, and you can't get much more central for district 1 / Saigon. Those who complained over the airport transfer price need a reality check - all hotels make a...

I discovered Spring Hotel about 12 yrs ago and have loyally stayed with them every time I visited Vietnam (sometimes 2-3 times a year). Then, they were friendly, accommodating, and not as busy. Since many travel books- Lonely Planet included- wrote them up I find the following: (1) Their service has become more impersonal (2) Prices have gone up (3)...
