Rooms are the expected Accor standard. You will know what that means if you used other equivalent star Accor hotels. The staff in the other hand are on an even higher level of quality compared to others in my past experiences. We had a fabulous stay in Novotel Saigon Centre. All staff looked after us really well and took every effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We spent 15 nights in total at the hotel and our breakfast drinks would arrive at the table without us ordering them. The rooms were spotlessly clean The hotel is within walking distances of all Saigon landmarks and Saigon felt safe to walk around as a tourist. Novotel Saigon Center is a lovely hotel located in a business area of Ho Chi Minh City. We (family of 4 - my wife, 2 sons 14y/o & 6 y/o and me), stayed here in May-23 on vacation. If you're an Accor member you get late check-out till 2PM which was very useful for us. The hotel is located across the road from (as of May-2023) an ATM, a convenience store (G25) and Hoang Yen, a nice Vietnamese Restaurant. A bigger store of G25 and a couple of cafes and a KFC are just a minute's walk away. It's barely 2kms away from the bustling Saigon river-front and Ben Thanh market both of which offer settings to soak in local vibes and enjoy your vacation. Or you could just relax in the hotel by their pool. Special thanks to the receptionist Mr. Hu'Ng and the Chief Concierge Mr. Nguyen Minh Nhut, both of whom were very affable and helpful. The Chief Concierge, Mr. Nhut was particularly helpful and knowledgeable - not just with the usual touristy stuff, but a ton of trivia as well, including where to buy a Dell charger for my laptop (after working with their IT team to try and locate a charger for me to use temporarily). I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for business or for vacation. What I loved about the hotel: 1. Location - already detailed above 2. Staff - courteous & helpful 3. Flexible - we arrived very late (around 3:30AM) and there was an issue with my card for pre-paying for my reservation (which was discovered a few hours before I left from India). Yet, the hotel had everything ready when we arrived, including our request for connecting rooms, and honoured the same rate even though I hadn't actually pre-paid. 4. Well-laid out rooms - many hotels usually have a dearth of sufficient charging points. This hotel had a good number of them thoughfully placed throughout the room 5. Dispensers for hand soap, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner in the bathrooms - I always like the use of dispensers as they avoid wastage (as compared to bar soaps which barely get used over a couple of days) and I also find them hygienic 6. Most staff are conversant in English - this can be a bit of a problem in Vietnam, even though people are mostly polite & courteous 7. Excellent breakfast spread What could have been better: 1. Room size - at 27 sq. mtrs. the rooms are just sufficient. The work table is somewhat compact - barely fits a laptop and if someone is seated at the table, it's difficult for anyone to get around, let alone leave space to place a room-service tray. There's certainly no space for an extra bed in the standard rooms if you're a family travelling with a young kid. 2. Bathroom and bathroom door - in an attempt to achieve finesse in the bathroom decor, some functionality seems to have been sacrificed. The shower area has an electrically-operated privacy curtain which can be a little awkward if you're sharing the room with someone other than a spouse and even with young kids being in the room. The bathroom door itself has no lock and the way it is designed with a double-fold makes it cumbersome to close the door easily 3. Entrance lighting - the entrance lighting needs some improvement after-hours to make it easy to locate the entrance. The hotel also has a side entrance which appears locked at night (as was the case with us when we landed in the middle of the night) but was actually not locked. 4. More options - other than breads, pastries & fruits - for vegetarians at breakfast Overall, we had a great experience and certainly recommend this place for business visitors and vacationing families alike.…

We choose Novotel Saigon Centre for our stay in Ho Chi Minh for 2 nights and booked SUPERIOR ROOM, 1 KING-SIZE BED including Buffet Breakfast. The experience was Speechless… This was the first time we booked this hotel. Our flight was delayed and we called the hotel to ensure that they hold on the room for few more hours. The staff was very co-operative and reassured that the room will be held for us. On reaching the hotel, we were assisted by Duyen. She was very courteous and helpful. She gave us all the information needed and also she went the extra mile and gave us an upgrade to EXECUTIVE SUITE. The room was an experience to enjoy. It had a beautiful outside view and we could see the building Landmark 81 and also the flight taking off and landing at the airport. The cleaning staff did a good job and kept the room neat always. We asked for a late checkout and the staff offered us the same till 3.00 p.m. We also wanted to keep our luggage as our flight was very late in the night. The staff told us that we could leave it there safely and collect it when we returned back. Overall it was a great experience and will definitely definitely recommend this hotel. This was my second visit to Novotel Saigon Centre. The first thing to note is the friendliness and professionalism of ALL the staff I had interactions with. Always helpful, Always smiling, Always professional. Danh & her team at the front desk were superb to deal with. My Room was amazing (I had a suite), very clean and comfortable with super air conditioning. The breakfast was included and really good and there was a great selection available. Amazing view of HCM from the rooftop bar area. Nice pool and gym. Great location as in the area where a lot of embassies are located and easy to walk to all main tourist areas. Taxis are always available outside hotel lobby and are really cheap to use. I cant wait to return !

We really enjoyed this hotel....a lovely and clean well equipped room. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. It was lovely to be greeted with fresh cool juices. The roof top bar has a great view and the staff were professional and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.

A usual Novotel standard experience. Highly recommended on that budget. Arrived early and offered a bigger room but without the view, which was fine. Clean, comfortable bed and great power shower. Premium Room. In room dining was quick and efficient, but expected more quality in the food. The Pool area is currently being maintained for a week or two, but this is managed effectively, and you'll see guys abseiling down to this area which is like an ' inner atrium ' with rooms facing inwards. Staff are very helpful, and I appreciated their kind attitude on a couple of occasions. Thank you to all for a comfortable stay.

We had a really nice stay at Novotel. The rooms a quit small but clean and with a nice bathroom. The pool area is small but cozy and covered so you can have a swim without getting a sun burn. The breakfast buffet was really good with both international and asian breakfast. But the best part was the hotel’s hospitality. The staff was really helpful and went out of their way to give us a good experience even after we checked out.

Very professional and friendly staff. The location is good as well. Mr. Hung and Mr Chien were extremely polite and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to them and their team. The bar on the 20th floor has a good view and is very well managed. The staff are very nice there too.
