Very good hotel, centrally located in Ho Chi Minh. Bars, shops and restaurants less than 100m away but still possible to get a good nights sleep. Easy walk to the markets, post office, parks, and the notre dame. Rooms are of a comfortable standard, when we arrived there was no free water but the next day water had been left... More

We have travelled around Vietnam for a month and stayed in plenty of hotels. This one was the worst price/value hotel. Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. The room is very dark. There was no shampoo, no soap, no complimentary water. Bed was very hard. Wifi did not work. Water pressure in shower so weak that we couldn't have shower.... More

Very closed by to all the actions on Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien Street but still within walking distances to Ben Thanh market, Saigon Square, Opera House and most attractions in District 1. The hotel is actually located in a small lane but it's not too difficult to find. Nice and quiet. Simple but tastefully done decorations. Staff are... More

Tripwriter hotel is a perfect little hotel located down a small alleyway in District 1. The staff were exceptional, the rooms were well serviced, and breakfast every morning was hot, tasty, and fresh. Here, you are located only a short walk to fantastic restaurants, tourist spots, and parks. The team at Tripwriter were so helpful with recommendations for tours, and... More

Room was nice and spacious in the middle of the backbacker area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The A/C was pretty loud and little dirty. What we disliked the most was an additional single bed in our room which made the room feel pretty crowded. Too bad as the room was very big actually. The breakfast was also not... More
