The hotel was in the midst of remodelling when I visited. Only a fraction of the floors were occupied as they seemed to be coming to the end of a major revamp (following COVID). The pool has been moved to one floor below the rooftop bar (D’Chill). The neighbourhood is ‘authentic’ rather than polished. The room was nice and the staff courteous and professional.

This was an amazing stay in the capsules for two nights. The facilities were clean and it was very easy to store out bags in the lockers. It felt very safe and the staff were so helpful with anything. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The only down side is it’s a bit of a walk from the centre and when ur in the capsule you can hear every movement from each other capsule - a bit like a caravan. Overall, would recommend to anyone of any age staying in Ho Chi Minh City.

We had such a blast staying here. The capsules are super cool. The atmosphere is so fun, the breakfast had a great selection, vegan options available, and the staff was great. We’re staying here again on our next visit. They have non capsule rooms available as well.

We booked this hotel to have a pool for the kids after 6 weeks travelling. The kids pool is really only suitable for toddlers, but the roof top pool provided ample entertainment and a place for us to relax - which was our goal. The room was big and had a couch which was a bonus. The location is a bit of a walk (15 minutes) to get to the entertainment precinct, but there are convenience stores nearby for basics.

Firstly take a tip from this review & others if coming straight from the airport! Ensure you book only Vinasun or other recommended Taxi, we knew to use only certain ones but procedded to get in a 'Vina' taxi 565,000 later when it should have only been about 190,000. Anyway the hotel was in a good location and was clean the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was nice enough with good views of HMC, The roof top bar is also worth a visit especially of an evening to see everything lit up. The pool area was nice enough, pool towels are provided. The sunloungers were a little tired and tipped up everytime you sat on them. The staff were friendly polite and Jacky the manager at breakfast was good at giving any info needed in good English. Well worth staying here. Value for money for a mid range to upper end hotel. Excellent location, not right in the city but max 20 minutes walk to ALL of Siagons tourist attractions. Very friendly staff. Great buffet breakfasts. Nice pool area with food service. Fantastic roof top bar and restaurant, not as cheap as on the street but still well under western prices, worth at least one evening meal to see the best skyline view of Saigon. Room was clean and serviced everyday by friendly staff.

Always good to return to my Saigon home with the good people at the Sunland. Chef Tommy and Manager Jacky always make sure we have a happy & tasty start to every day. Super hot chilli with the soup.
