Location: Centrally located on a street where there are lots of bars, clubs, restaurants. It is also on a street where most operators can pick you up for your tour. Room: Clean and sufficient. Bed is a little bit on the stiff side. Breakfast: Superb and varied hot and cold buffet. Wifi: Fast and reliable. Plus: Chic rooftop bar.

we spent five days here, the room was large and with a good size bathroom, stepping into the bath was a bit tricky for my wife as she is not blessed with long legs, and the side of the bath was fairly high, for Asia the bed was not to hard ,our room was at the back of the hotel...

Selected this place based on good reviews and it was not a mistake. I had been in Saigon before 5+ years ago so roughly knew the location. It was still a bit shock arriving to Bui Vien street in the evening. Such a mess but got used to it :) Although the room was a bit dated, it was still...

For the price, this was a really good find. We were offered welcome drinks upon check-in and staff helped us with our luggage. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected. We were told though that we had one of the only rooms with a window. Hot shower and free, standard toiletries. Free bottles of water, too. Air conditioning...

Stayed here in December 2015. The location is perfect: It's right in the heart of Bui Vien Street, which is lined with bars and pubs, most with outdoor seating and, on Friday and Saturday nights, is packed with locals and foreigners enjoying cheap beer, music, etc. At the same time, it's about 15-30 minutes' walk from most of the city's...

I love this hotel. The people that work here are really nice. They really look after you and are very easy going. Comfortable rooms and perfect rooftop bar with good food! Great for the single travelers right in the heart of an action packed street!

Compared to the other hotels we stayed in Vietnam, I was disappointed with the Duc Vuong Hotel. The lobby is very nice, but our room was old and worn. We booked in a room with no windows hoping there would be less noise, but there were weirdly placed vents in our room that brought in so much noise. Breakfast is...

We booked the family room for our first night and last night in Vietnam for our family of 7. We ended up with 2 rooms next to each other, one very large with 2 double beds and 1 slightly smaller with a double and single. Rooms were clean and comfy with small windows each. Shower in larger room was over...

Although we were cautioned against staying in the backpackers area, I thoroughly enjoyed our location. We were within walking distance of many of the tourist sights (a fairly long, hot walk, but walkable nonetheless). The accommodations were clean (aside from room-related issues noted below) and sufficient and the rooftop bar was awesome (go for sunset). There are great restaurants nearby,...

We stayed at this hotel the night before flying out of Vietnam, after having already stayed at a similarly-priced hotel in the same neighborhood the previous week. This hotel is acceptable but a little worn around the edges and definitely appears older (stained furniture, moldy bathroom, etc.). Staff and rooms are just OK. The main perk to this hotel is...
