After travelling for a total of 3 months, encountering numerous rip offs and awful stays, this guesthouse was a blessing. The owner is the kindest and most knowledgable man anyone could wish to meet in a foreign country.

mimosa guesthouse exists since 21 years! the guesthouse belongs to a very nice and caring family, they are very helpful and always open for a chat. we stayed 4 nights in one of their doublerooms. it had one big bed and one smaller bed inside, toilet with bathtube inside, tv, window, aircon, fan. it was clean and only 7 us-dollars....

Rooms are very cheap and clean, with an ideal location! But what sets this place above the rest is the owner! Mr Long is an incredibly caring man, who works to make sure everything about your stay in Hue is perfect! He has advice about all the tourist attractions and can arrange many for you, as well as offering his...

It was a good stay as the rooms were clean and sufficient. As we intended to be out for most of the day we weren't fussed about the decor of the room. It is very good value and the owner Mr Loi is very genuine and helpful! Thank you for a good stay The showers were hot which isn't always...

The private room was clean and comes with aircon. The guesthouse is situated in the heart of the backpacker area, but is small enough to not get noticed. The value for the room is exceptional for those on a budget. However what really made the stay exceptional was the host Looi and his family. They were so kind, honest and...

The owner, Mr. Long, is very friendly, which really makes this a wonderful experience. My room was clean, but I think there might've been a little mold growing in the bathroom; I think older houses sometimes have this problem in a tropical climate. Since it didn't bother me, I didn't complain, but I'm sure the owner would've been happy to...

I stayed here for a week in one of the super small rooms. Mine had a window, was clean, and had a soft mattress and attached bath. It was cheap and more than adequate for my purposes, although they also offered a good price on the double room in low season. I didn't even need the fan during the time...

We didn't stay here but we book a tour to the tombs and rented bicycle for the day from him too. The owner was really helpful, genuinely nice and kind. so is the wife. :) Among few places we asked, his bicycle rental is one of the lowest too :)

We stayed at Mimosa for 3 nights and had a GREAT experience. The room was clean, the A/C and cable TV worked great, and the owner, Mr. Long couldn't have been a better host. He not only was extremely helpful, kind, and humorous, but he let us cut a deal with him and stay for $7.60 a night (when booking...

This is deffo the cheapest place in hue. For $8(U.S.) we got a double room with A/C, Fan, TV and privat bathroom. It's in the heart of the bars and restaurants (tourist area) and can be a little noisy at times but all in all a very good place for budget travellers. There is a little balcony on the first...
