I had a nice dinner with friends on the terrace of the restaurant. Food is very delicious and the atmosphere on the terrace is beautiful. However, there was a big corporate event and there were limited seats for regular guests. And although everyone was very busy, we had a fantastic service.

My stay at this hotel was wonderful, because of the following : 1- nice location 2- easy access to the sea coast / baku boulevard 3- room size 4- close to city attractions 5- nice and helpful staff 6- calm location The hotel breakfast was good, and again their staff were super helpful and nice. The only issue is that we asked to have a room with 2 single beds, and upon check in they tod us that all rooms are booked which was really frustrating, asked them to get an extra bed ad the receptionist claimed that they have no available beds at the moment. The last 2 nights at the hotel were terrible because of the guests staying next to my room where they spent the whole night talking in the corridor and making a lot of noise, contacted the receptionist who directed called them and shared my feedback .. they did not take the request into consideration, but at least the receptionist did and tried to help. Other than that no issues were faced during the stay. Yes, and I will definitely recommend it to others planning to visit Baku.

The hotel is spectacular looking, great facilities, and good breakfast and lunch buffet. The rooms are nice, but I encountered the first room I step into had a heavy kerosene smell. I requested for another room; the next room too had the smell but not as bad as the first room. Staff and service should be alot better, reception staff are slow at getting hotel guest queries settled.

Besides the room, which was nice, the staff and service are horrible! Super slow, rude, and disrespectful. At breakfast no one would get our coffee order and if they did they do it unhappily as if despising their job or any customer service. One very specific shocking incident, which is actually why I’m writing this review is when we were at breakfast one day and simply and politely asked for white sugar instead of brown, the “waiter” came and pointed at our table to the sugar (that did not contain any white sugar) and squeezed all the sugar sachets roughly with his hands in an extremely rude manner making all the sugar fall out on the table purposefully and said “here is sugar”!!! We were beyond words! We even spoke to the manager afterwards, he just apologized but was also at loss of words and his english language was not well understood. Reception staff was also very slow at check in and not well trained and saying mixed and different things when we asked for member benefits or any additional requests. I’m not sure where the international Marriott standards are at this hotel but we were surely expecting it when we chose the hotel for the stay but, unfortunately, the service and staff are far away from any Marriott hotel standard we have ever stayed at and we are a well-traveled family who are Marriott Bonvoy Elite members. Shocking service.

We were on the 3rd floor and the internet sucks. I can't even get the google maps load properly, let alone any WhatsApp chats. The Staff internet service is horrible, totally. We called the front desk, but no respired Having tried that a number of times On August 4, between 1 and 2 PM., all we got was a message about we can't do anything about that. Had tried to call front desk a number of times during that time, and the front desk had decided not to answer our call. Eventually I went down to the front desk, All the front desk say was to not allow us to change to yet another room (Check the photos I took from the hotel network) No one at the front desk has been any help to me since I checked in, we noticed an awful smell in the whole room and the linens. Would not recommend If you have a strong sense of smell. Had to sleep all night with our shirts over our noses I noticed many stains on the bed sheets. After I’d already slept there. They were faded so apparently; they had tried to wash it out. Many shady characters just hanging out lot at night. Finally, I do not agree at all that the Baku Marriott Hotel Boulevard provides a trusted, quality experience expected from Marriott Hotels. ( The pictures don't lie )

I have been in this hotel as a business traveller who knows JW Marriott hotel as a very great hotels in the worlds, but I had a very bad experience with this hotel receptions as a first front desk spot . I have tried to extend my stay for one more night but as today is holiday I could not find any exchange office to change USD to AZN. I shared my request to keep the room amount with USD until tomorrow I could change amount to AZN and give you the amount in AZN and get back my USD but they refused. The guy with the name of KASHEM or something like that was very rude and really needs to be trained. He should knows that here is International hotel and this kind of attitude absolutely not being tolerated in this kind of hotels. I think it would be my last visit of your hotel.

I booked a room for about a week. The room is on my name. As well as my husband is with me , his plane came later so he checked in later to my room. The hotel is nice , restaurants are good with good service and skills. BUT, the security keeps on stopping me to enter the hotel every night , as he thinks I’m a “prostitute”. Let me tell that my husband is from a different country and his skin color is dark , and I’m from another country and my skin color is lighter. So due to not being educated and lack of skills he thinks that My husband is bringing a prostitute to the hotel. Im very embarrassed and frustrated! Let me tell you that I got so fed up with all of this that I was sitting in my room and crying that some NOT EDUCATED SECURITY sees me as a prostitute. Judging our color differences and nationalities. This is embarrassing … I would really advice your hotel to make training to your reception staff AS WELL AS SECURITY. My experience in this hotel is ruined , very disappointing and disgusting. Thank you so much for such an disrespectful hospitality. -Staff showing a lack of skill and sensitivity in dealing with guests. -What a rude security -Guests feel insulted by rude ho tel staff members

Nice facilities but the service was quite awful. Check in took more than 30 minutes. The internet was so slow and unstable that it was completely unusable. Overall their staff was unhelpful and seemed more interested in looking at their cellphones than helping guests.

We are Titanium Ambassador. No guarantee of upgrade but always treated really well at Marriott. We stayed during Formula One race and the front desk staff seemed overwhelmed with being full. No upgrade but did get a water view after originally getting a tiny room looking at the road. Breakfast was just terrific and the saving grace. A young man named El Turan waited on us every morning. Such a nice smile and so professional. Really was such a nice way to start the mornings. Download Bolt to your phone as they don't have Uber, is very inexpensive way to get around the city. We used Bolt in Tbilisi Georgia as well.
