We had different stays during december 07 and january 08. Overall, this hotel is nice and clean. The staff is very nice, the pool is a big plus, the ambiance is good, the bar/restaurant very good. The rooms are variable. The double royal ones are 5 stars. For the price, they are perfect. Some other double rooms are ok but... More

We spend 3 nights a the hotel scandinavia in phnom penh and loved it. We arrived by taxi (we used the company recommended by Eric the hotel owner) from the airport. The hotel manager (Sam) immediately welcomed us and made us feel at home from the first moment on. Before we knew what happened, we had a cold drink before,... More

I stayed here with my parents, who were already tired of the intensity of South East Asia. I couldn't have picked a better place. With inexpensive rooms, this place is perfect if you are looking for a little oasis from the mayhem. Tucked away but near most attractions, it has great restaurants within walking distance and the lovely staff and... More

We stayed at the Scandinavia Hotel at the beginning of October for two nights. We just wish it could have been longer. It is a great boutique hotel, not far from a selection of bars and restaurants if you want them, but down a quiet road which means that it is very tranquil. It is also near most of the... More

It is a small hotel in PP, Cambodia. But, the awesome memory we have is very significant. We stay there for 3 days 2 nights. Let's talk about the proprty itself. Nicely done up. Attention to all the details is amazing. Set in a quiet little neighbourhood, which is near to most places. Each room has its own theme. Very,... More

If only the Hotel Manager could remain positive and calm, and not react stupidly to a few simple customer questions. I had made a booking at this seemingly up market, pleasant and 'homely' hotel in Phnom Penh last month, only to find my booking cancelled 5 days before my arrival. Why? Simply because I was seeking clarification about the hotel... More

We decided to book this hotel after seeing their website when I googled Boutique Hotels in Phnomh Penh - it looked like a funky, smart place to stay and $45 seemed reasonable The photos reflected nothing of how the hotel actually is. Upon arrival we were shown to our room - the American owner said "This is actually my favourite... More

Excellent Boutique hotel. Very Friendly and helpfull staff. Room was great, Just beside the pool with a terrace and chairs for relaxing. Pool is open all the time so if you want a swim late in the evening. Food at the hotel was very good and location is quiet. Just a few blocks from restaurants and shopping.

The Scandinavia is a well-run family hotel with a touch of Somerset Maugham. It is close to the city centre in a quiet side street, enclosed by a courtyard. The reception desk is staffed by two charming and helpful young women for whom nothing is a trouble. You are greeted with a glass of iced water on your arrival and... More

Stayed at the Scandinavia Hotel for one night and were very pleased with our experience. The staff are friendly, the rooms were clean and beautifully decorated and the food was also excellent. Excellent value for money and in a great location.
