Classic boutique hotel. We had booked the King Grand Suite (Room 801) Although the lift goes only to the seventh floor the extra steps to the Penthouse were well worth the effort. Magnificent views to the east over the Mekong and to the wet over the city. A lovely spacious room. Breakfast more than adequate. Central to many attractions and...

Stayed 28 - 31 Jan and again on 5 Feb for one night. All the staff speak very good English and are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Room was a good size, tea, coffee, 2 bottles of water daily. Complimentary toiletries, dispensers of shampoo and shower cream in shower. We always had hot water, and aircon was good....

Stayed here 3 nights. Location is central to most things to see and do in Phnom Penh. I walked to most places in the day time but would not walk the surrounding streets at night on my own. Luckily you got a dozen tuk-tuks waiting outside the hotel at any given time. Is about 40 mins from the airport. Taxi...

The King Grand Boutique Hotel was a really great place to stay in Phnom Penh. I would highly recommend its location, its cleanliness and its amenities. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. I ESPECIALLY thank Mr Suntry – our waiter in the restaurant. Whether we were dining in or just popped in for a drink or two, he was...

I really enjoyed my stay at the King grand hotel, it was very clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and helpful and always available when needed, there was one staff member in particular that made my stay even better I think his name was suntree, he was really hard working and defiantly went the extra mile for me...

Quiet, clean and comfortable, with a friendly staff. Located on Street 258, very close to the Palace and Wat Botum, the King Grand is an excellent choice for a stay in Phnom Penh. I opted to have my breakfasts elsewhere, so can't speak to their buffet. Location was perfect for me, not too close to the downtown area, and in...

Rooms are small. Shower had no hot water after first 2 min. I complained 3 times and no action. We rented 2 rooms, no shower curtain in one bathroom. Bathrobe had no tie back. Aircon had some issues but worked in the end. Breakfast was okay. Laundry was terribly expensive but roadside shop was cheap so we got it done...

Air conditioning took 15 minutes to power up and once it was up and running it still barely worked. Folding towels into the likeness of swans on the bed will not sway your first impressions of your room from being functional/tacky at best. The breakfast buffet selection was a joke. One incident troubled me more than anything else. They advise...
