This place was falling apart. The rooms were large but very run down. Our air conditioner leaked and the shower had bad water pressure. Even with all the lights on it was dark in the room. It is noisy since it is on a busy street. The breakfast was not good at all, mainly local dishes, not many choices. I...

We spent three nights in The Diamond Hotel which is very well situated and within easy walking distance of many amenities. It's a lovely old hotel with fabulous big rooms and enormous comfortable beds but unfortunately it really is in need of a bit of a refurb. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Great laundry service and breakfast was very...

Certainly not the best anymore, the hotel would have been nice once but needs a lot of work and updating.Having said that the bed was nice and comfy and clean. It is a bit noisy as next to a very busy road. I have seen comments that you cant turn all the lights off and this was the case in...

Can't recommend to stay in this hotel. We had a very noisy room on the second floor. The door to the balcony wasn't really closing that's why you hear every car on main street. Aircon didn't work. We switched rooms but noisy level being the same, this time from a super noisy aircon. Breakfast was mainly cooked local dishes on...

I recently stayed at the Diamond Hotel as part of a tour group and I definitely will not stay there again. The only good thing about it was that it's close to the Central Market (just one block away) but the hotel itself is very dated and not very clean. And, despite being near the Central Market - the location...

The hotel faces onto a busy street but is only a few minutes walk from the market. Otherwise the hotel is quite far from the rest of the sites but fortunately tuk tuks are very affordable and a great experience! The only issue was when my friend and I were walking back as it started getting dark and a guy...

The Diamond Hotel was clean and well located- the market was only a 2 minute walk; turn right out of the hotel and right again to reach the market. The rooms were very spacious and clean but very dated, with mis-matched old bathroom suite and very old fashioned decor, but the rooms are huge and they did the job just...

I stayed here while on a Adventures tour. I liked the location-very close to the big market and within walking distance of Wat Phnom and the river. The hotel itself is rather stark and doesn't have much ambiance, but it has advantages. The room was quite large and there was actually counter space in the bathroom to put our toiletry...

This hotel did the job just fine, check in was friendly and fast as was check out. Rooms were spacious and everything worked fine in our room, yes the furniture is a little dated but so what ? Didn't experience the " damp smell " that everyone seemed to complain about and our towels and bed linens were fine. It...

It was certainly not the cleanest hotel I've ever been in. If you're into luxury, don't stay here. It is walking distance to the market, which was great. The staff were extremely friendly and there were always tuk tuks available to get you around. It's on a main drag, so it's not a quiet area. It was $3 and about...
