The Kabiki has a resort feel to the whole place. Guests feel that they enter a rustic haven the moment they step into the hotel. We do not even hear the traffic, since the lane outside is heavily guarded (the PM's residence is next door) and is out-of-bounds to vehicles. Despite this, tuk-tuks are aplenty and easily available just about... More

Definitely the best hotel I stayed at in Cambodia. It's like an oasis in the middle of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms (and the beds) are huge, some even have their own little terrace. The hotel is in the middle of a beautiful green garden, the restaurant is right at the pool and the... More

This was a great place to stay and would recommend to all! We travelled with our 20 month old boy, good baby equipment, staff were really friendly, staff can double up as babysitter for you which was great for us. Lovely simple breakfast, good food at their poolside restaurant, the Phnom Penh omelette was a delicious surprise. Our boy ate... More

Stayed here with 2 girlfriends for 4 nights. A beautiful place, lovely helpful staff, excellent value for money, and beautiful clean facilities. The pool is gorgeous, great for cooling down after a hard days walking. Simple but beautiful breakfast included. Fresh juice, breads, omollets and fresh fruit. Great way to start the day. The poolside restaurant is lovely with great... More

The kabiki hotel is tucked away and is on a road that is not accessible by cars or tuk Tuks. The walk is a approx 50 metres with bags. The hotel is quiet with a lovely pool and wooded garden area. Breakfast was good but we would not eat here as I knew there are better restaurants in Phnom Penh... More

After a long taxi ride from Sihanoukville, traffic etc etc what a pleasant arrival! Yes we did have to walk but our bags were carried for us & the service & feeling when we arrived was great! We stayed in room 14 on the 2nd floor which was FANTASTIC, especially for $55USD so would def recommend that room then moved... More

Was visiting Phnom Penh for their Independence Day Celebration. Choose to stay here for 2 nights as it was located near the Independence Monument where the celebration will be held in early morning. As the hotel was only 2 houses away from the Prime Minister's house and sharing the same backlane, there are guard posts at both end of the... More

Very warm welcome with polite staff who spoke excellent English. Clean, nice room on the smallish side - but I don't mind that. Pool in pretty green color with plenty of shade. Surprisingly I did not detect any mosquito's. Daughter loved meeting other children too play with in the pool - which is shallow) and the hotel promotes it self... More

If you ever thought you could never afford to stay in a welcoming calm small boutique hotel in the middle of Phnom Penh, then you haven't been to this hotel. The staff are lovely and for the most part locals. The pool in clean and long enough to swim laps to stretch out after travelling and shopping. We had a... More

So true what everyone else is saying - The Kabiki is lush, quiet and an oasis in the middle of the city. At the same time it manages to be simple and relaxing, which is a better representation of Cambodia than some huge and over-the-top hotels like what I found in Siem Reap. Here staff are engaging, friendly and personable;... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After opening our famous Pavilion boutique hotel, we realised, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh needed a resort that was family orientated and child friendly. The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Peich Street with its 3500m2 of surrounding land was perfect. Caring, friendly staff, lots of nature for children to explore, the Kabiki is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between days exploring Phnom Penh and the nearby attractions of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the riverside. We planted over 500 native trees, many of which we've placed name tags on so you can identify them yourselves. ... more   less
