This hotel has alot of chram and character, located on the river front.However because of the time of year it was too cold to sit out on the balcony although the view was very nice.The bungulows are beautufully decorated.Unfortunately we felt the hotel was too far from the centre, you have to get a tuk tuk for about $3 each...

I can relate to both former reviews. I was led to this guesthouse by my taxi driver. I was just staying overnight between flight arrival from Phnom Penh and Bus to Luang Prabang, with both terminals located closely to each other. I actually had a reservation at another house in Vientiane, quite remote from both. Explaining that to my taxi...

I was quite amazed to reaad Beerlao's review - hardly seems like the same place! I stayed there for 5 nights in March 08 and had a great time. Admittedly, yes, I was told to catch a tuk tuk for my airport pick-up, but that wasn't a killer. I had a superior room, booked via Lonely Planet, and for $18...

There were so many red flags about this place, that we should never have stayed here. I booked a superior room for my boyfriend and I for $16, so a mid-range room, via email, which took some time since they don't answer email quickly.
