The staff were not very friendly, often caught watching TV or playing on their mobile phones. Rooms are very small, hard to move around. Nothing too fancy. Relatively dirty inside the rooms and in the hall ways, including the elevator. Range of about $25USD for a double bed. Although, close to the Mekhong River, Monuments and Temples, Restaurants and Motorbike...

this hotel looks very ugly from outside, but the room are decent and confortable and it is very quiet. the breackfast buffet is included, but doesn't offer a real choice of western dishes,if you like chinese breackfast it might be ok. wifi service can be very weak in the room, but it works at the reception.

No worries with this one. The staff was obliging and the room was very adequate and clean. The location is great. About 50meters from the esplanade along the Meekong River where the night markets and street food vendors set up. Would recommend.

The location is perfect and the rooms are a good size and clean. The hotel looks a little dated but this could be addressed at small expense to make it a much more pleasant experience e.g. buying new towels for the rooms and complimentary water - would be good for the price!

This old hotel from the 1970's or '80's enjoys a marvelous position near to the lively embankment of the great Mekong River. It manages to retain its quiet location and is well served by a plethora of boutique shops, eateries, bars and patisseries in the locale. It's still a good base-hotel for visitors to Vientiane and offers respite from the...

We have stayed here a few times over the years yet i still keep coming back. I'll agree with some reviews it needs a little extra care. It's an old building but that's also why we like it....compared to new modern hotels for the same price or more the rooms here are huge. (I'll take a pic). For roughly 25...

I thought the ants were just an isolated incident from a previous review. Wrong. They were present in the bathroom sink, on the dressing table, and yes, on the bed. Irritating, but it seems these are not the type that give a stinging bite. So I can still live with these. Better than mosquitoes or flies or roaches. Wifi worked...

The only thing good I can say about this hotel is the location. The location is great as it is next to a lot of nice restaurants and it is close to the night life. Now let me tell you why I can't recommend this place. First of all there were thousands of ants in my room and even some...

Shame shame shame - this hotel could be soooo much better, if only somebody took proper care of the little things! The big ones are there already: location is great, very central as well as convenient for the evening stroll along the river. Rooms are spacious, with a nice big bed and decent bathroom, aircon, fan, balcony, TV, fridge (let's...
