This hotel isn't cheap by Lao price standards, however it is clean, central, quiet, good beds, good rooms, and I was happy there. Easy walk to the central fountain and other restaurants and services in the downtown area. Room had a balcony but mine didn't overlook anything appealing. Everything there worked, help was friendly, a/c worked great. Especially liked the... More

If your expectations are low you will be pleasantly surprised. Internet is good, room clean, location excellent and service ranges from exceptional to front desk staff asleep on couch at 5.30am. Whilst the breakfast location is pleasant the actual breakfast is not. The bed was hard as a rock. If I had to I would stay again.

We tends to stay at small central hotel to get the feel of the city. However, this time we stayed at Sabaidee@laos. Free internet at lobby and in room too! All of the decors and even the stairs are made from wood which makes the hotel more classy! Overall 4/5 stars!

Central located across the road next to famouse Lao Plaza Hotel. Hotel consists of to buildings behind each other linked by a restaurant in this backyard. Both buildings have a few steps to climb to get in (re. maybe a bit difficult with heavy luggage) I had a room in the second building on the 4th floor next to the... More

Stayed here for two nights. The place was quite serviceable given the remote location. Breakfast was good. Laundry service is very good and extremely inexpensive. Charges are per kilo of weight. Amazing. No problems here, service friendly and value is good.

I stayed here three days with a tour group. The room is spacious with tile floor. After a couple of days I could shower without splashing all over the bathroom floor. There's a reason the bath mat is outside the bathroom! Couldn't ask for nicer people. Laundry in 24 hr or less. I paid $4 for 1.2 kilos. Great place... More

Vientiane was our final stop in Laos so my partner and I decided to splurge on a nicer place. Located on a quiet street across the renowned Lao Plaza Hotel, Sabai Dee @ Laos is 3 star hotel built in 2009. Location is definitely a huge plus as major attractions such as National Museum and Nam Phou Fountain were all... More

On a quiet side street within walking distance from the main streets and the Mekong river, is this delightful oasis. The rooms are bright and cheery , good internet service and most important a smiling, friendly, and helpful staff . Breakfast is served on the charming patio or adjoining room inside- a good buffet with excellent coffee and fresh papayas.... More

I wouldn't choose Saibadee for my honeymoon, but it's quite all right for a couple of nights on my own. It's four minutes walk from the central Nam Phu square, but Vientiane is so compact and quiet that you can walk almost anywhere anyway. Rooms are basic but adequate. Nothing special, but all right.

pros: an OK 3-star hotel; new rooms cons: no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, no pool Nothing special really - just standard and nothing to write/complain about Rooms on the front can get noise from the street (however traffic is light)
