I stayed at Ichmon with my wife for 4 nights with a one-day break in between when we traveled outside the city for one night. The service was fantastic, the room was immaculate, a very nice buffet breakfast was included and the price was unbeatable. Location was also very convenient. The point to really drive home about this place was the service though. They were very accommodating to let us leave some bags in storage the night we didn't stay there in the middle, very helpful in hailing taxis, the bellman walked me (in the rain) to a restaurant to ensure I found my way, and they even packed us breakfast sandwiches when we had to check out very early the final morning. Just very thoughtful service. Not sure when I'll ever be back in UB, but this is definitely where I'd stay if I am!

Ichmon Hotel offers a clean, comfortable, pleasant stay with many welcome upgrades not experienced at the other hotels we stayed in during a recent trip to Mongolia. The English-speaking staff is friendly and helpful. A complete breakfast buffet gets your day off to a great start. Try to book a room on the higher floors for a spectacular view of the UB cityscape.

Ichmon was a nice experience. All of the amenities of a western hotel. Clean and good customer service. Spacious rooms and our suite was apartment style with stovetop, large fridge, utensils and cookware. Breakfast included was a great benefit for our traveling family. This hotel seems to nicely accomodate foreign travelers. Staff is polite, focused on the client and speaks quite good English. Doormen at entryway. Laundry service was accurate and timely. There is a bit of street noise one block removed from a busy street, not unexpected. It is walkable to emart, world of wine and the street seems safe. I did not hesitate to have my teenager take the elevator and hallways inside the hotel alone. Very easy to get a taxi. The shower runs a bit hot then cold, back and forth, all through the shower, which was a bit tiresome. Safe for valuables, slippers, robe and toiletries provided. The price is quite reasonable. There is room service. I highly recommend.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in during our 9 day trip in Mongolia. The room is spacious, the bed is comfortable, the shower is excellent, especially after a long day travelling on dusty & bumpy roads. The service & hospitality is five star! Highly recommended.

Our group of eight are having an eight days tour of Mongolia in conjunction with our Trans Mongolia Train Adventure. We stayed in Ichmon Hotel on the first night and are now back to Ichmon Hotel at the end of the tour. The group unanimously agree that Ichmon is the best hotel for the whole tour in terms of cleanliness, service and comfort. The staff are helpful and all our requests are entertained with a big smile. Yes, if I ever return to Ulaanbaator, Ichmon Hotel will be my choice of hotel!

Really enjoyed my stay at Ichmon. Staff friendly and helpful. Their English was good - so useful, given my lack of language skills! Rooms comfy and warm. Buffet breakfast good and coffees excellent. Location handy walking distance to plenty of inner city restaurants and shops. Definitely will stay here again.

Ichmon Hotel is a good four-star hotel, very quiet and clean; it is located at approx. 30-minute walk to the government building. The staff was friendly. Attention: the restaurant is only open for the breakfast !

Our local office put me up here. The hotel is only 2 years old, well cared for and nicely laid out. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are on the slightly small size but well appointed, very clean and best of all, the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was good as well as the coffee. I would like to recommend they have a stand to put a suitcase on. I will very likely stay here next trip.

The hotel was chosen based on the price so we didn't expect much. location was good and we had a tour around Mongolia with a tour company, so everything was ok. it is recommended if you travelling on budget
