The manager baggy recommended me their top selling tour of the year. It was consisted of south central and northern Mongolia. My expectations were far exceeded. Everything was well arranged and organised. I ride a camel and horse and stayed with true nomadic families they have contract with. It was a trip of a life time. Thank you very much.

Okay, i am gonna boldly claim this guest house has a best location possible. Every attraction was in 2 mile radius. Mongolia had very huge meat based diet as i am vegetarian, which is quite difficult. But the good news is there was veggie restaurant right around corner. Guest house is clean and there was all your needs and felt so much at home. Thank you baggy Warmest regards Jesicca

We stayed 2 times at Jonon's guesthouse, for a total of about 8 days, we felt very good and comfortable there. Turo is a very reliable and helpful guy, he have us many advices and tips to travel his beautiful country. We haven't tried his tours, but we met people who did it, and it seems to be very interesting and totally worth the price. I definitely want to see Turo and his business partner one day, they belongs to the best people we met in our 1 month and 3 weeks in Mongolia ! Cheers mates

I cannot begin to explain how special was this experience. Since the moment I got there I felt like I was arriving home, her welcome was so warming I felt like I’ve been there since forever. Even though we waited her little bit. The hotel facilities are so Cool. Surrounded by government and universities. Staff is nice, friendly and super attentive at all times, they took amazing care of us and made sure we were having the greatest day Nj was simply the best and always aware of how were we doing and if we needed something. Doubtless I can say that this is the best guest house I’ve been in my life, I will surely come back. That is why i asked you the question NJ I am really amazed and happy of how they treated us, specially for being here on our business trip, not only they stick to the value of hospitality but they make you feel like you’re the most valuable guest. Thank you so much!

Stayed at Jonon Guesthouse for 8 days in November 2019. The guesthouse is located on the fourth floor of an apartment building. No elevator, just 87 steps. The guesthouse is an apartment which has been transformed into 4 guest rooms. Facility is located one block north of the Government Palace and most tourist attractions and a large number of outstanding restaurants are located within a 2 mile radius of the establishment. The location and price of a room are a positive factor. On the negative side, the guesthouse needed to be cleaned, especially the bathroom, (waste can wasn't emptied once in eight days), the floors (dust bunnies) and bed linen (sheets and blankets) need to be washed. Pillow needs to be replaced. Amenities are lacking (no towels provided). Per the Jonon Guesthouse web page, free high speed internet (WiFi) is available, however there was no service for 4 days. No problem, I can live without WiFi. Room service and room refrigerator are listed as being available, but are non existing. In the late afternoon (26 November) I returned to the guesthouse to find the electricity in the apartment had been turned off. Staff was contacted by phone and advised of the situation. No response. No flashlights, lanterns or candles available. This continued for two days. After two days in the dark it was necessary to make a decision to vacate this facility due to safety concerns (I am partially blind) and seek a new hotel.

I've booked an 18 days tour in September with Baggy (the guide) all around Mongolia (from the mountains in the north to the Gobi desert in the south). This was once in a lifetime experience. We had a really nice service from the guide and the driver. The gers (tents) where we slept were clean and comfy. The families that greeted us were super friendly. I need to mention that without Baggy, the experience wouldn't have been the same: he was attentive, had always some great info about the different places we visited, he gave me personally great tips for horse riding and he cooks very well. If you truly want to live the Mongolian experience the right way, it's with Baggy as a guide. * Baggy is the one getting hit on the picture 😁

This hostel/hotel is great - it's a small apartment that feels like home. The owners also offer a great variety of tours and will do their best to be flexible with the dates you are available. I did a three week tour with them which was fantastic, going through southern, central and northern Mongolia. Be prepared for cool nights (if you go in August) and pack extra thermals as it does get very cold and sleeping bags provided may not be sufficient. Also keep expectations in check - as these tours are SUPER well priced, you may not always get a daily shower or access to power sources. Bring along some baby wipes and spare battery packs.

I am very grateful for everything they have done. They organised very reasonable and excellent tours, both north and south of Ulaanbaatar. Staying at their apartment was also perfect as it is right in the middle of the city. Nice place! We became friends. Highly recommended.
