I didn't stay at the hostel as I wanted to be closer to the city center. However, when I went to Mongolia I had a bit of a problem. I only had about a week in the country, I was traveling solo, and didn't have any tour booked with about a week before departure. After frantically shooting off a bunch...

My stay at Danista was one of my best hostel experience ever. Location: ~25 min walk to the UB train station. 5-10 min walk to a main UB road where it's easy to catch a bus or taxi. I will say: the location of the hostel which up a short alley does lead to a 'did I book the right...

We booked a tour with Danista and we will remember that for really long time. Booking was so uncomplicated and when we arrived quite early, the owner offered us a bed to rest until the tour started. We had a friendly driver and a super cool tour guide and stayed with nomads. The staff took care of everything and I...

Cheap and clean Hostel near the Train Station. Staff is really nice, we got a lot of help: - we have been there in mid October, so it was off season. There weren't many people looking for a Tour organized by the Hostel. So the owener told us to ask some other guides and provided us with sleeping backs for...

It's only take 10 minutes from the station (taxi 3.000 mongolian currency) and they also provide pick up transportation. For me clean is very important thing and this is where you can find it with the helpful staffs. You can walk to the city center around 30mins. The Gandantegchinlen Monastery is only 15mins walks.

The owner speaks excellent English and is very helpful. The rooms are clean and quiet with enough space. We had some problem with the bathroom and as there wasnt other room to move...

Jagga, the owner from Danista Nomads is one the most helpful hostel owners I've met, ever. The hostel is situated in a somewhat shady-looking alley, but don't be fooled: you can't get any better in UB than this! Jagga helped us out with several problems we've had, lend us equipement, printed tickets and even let us rest in one of...

Stayed at Danista 3 times during my stay in Mongolia and found it to be clean and well run. Internet is reliable and staff were easy to deal with. I booked one of their Gobi & Central Mongolia tours and again was impressed with both the quality of guide and driver. Recommend this company for those travellers who appreciate great...

After China, where travelling is a bit more complicated, this hostel was a big relief for us! As agreed we got the airport pick-up which was very early in the morning. The rooms were great, breakfast delicious and the Manager and his staff very friendly and helpful! We got all the necessary information! Then we went on a 12 days...
