Stayed there for three nights. Had gone to attend a friend's wedding and she had arranged this for some of us. As we were all like a family privacy wasn't a big issue. The service as excellent. The food (breakfast) was great. Pool was superb. The only thing bad was that our bed kept squeaking despite the staffs' try to...

Villa Capers seemed right out of the 60s era with a touch of modernity. We loved how everything seemed so untouched, neat and pristine. It felt like a visit to grandma's place in India. Piyal, the caretaker was extremely friendly and made everything available to us right away. We couldn't have been more grateful to him for accommodating every need...

This is a lovely hotel in a quiet position in a nice part of Colombo that I stayed at for 2 nights before making my way down to the excellent Madampe House near Hikkaduwa. I have stayed here previously but I have to say that the new manager looks like exactly what this place was needing. The Bawa influence in...

I was extremely happy by the service I received at this Villa. It was truly an exquisite experience. The caretaker took care of all the details like Veg Food, local travel, etc. The things that makes the Villa stand out are as follows: 1. Swimming Pool 2. Snooker table 3. Lively common area 4. Heritage Interior & 5. Brilliant customer...

Maybe No.26 had some potential in the past but as far I can see owners were unable to upkeep this bussines. Avoid this place! The most important issue is sloppines caused probably by shortage of financial means (you cannot run this bussines without working capital). Staff consists of four ppl which cause that chef is also a night jantor and...

This was the perfect introduction to Sri Lanka for us. The hospitality was exceptional and the design and decor of this small hotel was dreamy. It was hard to believe that this quiet oasis was so close to the busy city, and the lovely gardens provided a sanctuary for birds. The food was beautifully cooked and presented, and the whole...

No. 26 Colombo is a beautiful small b&b designed by the great architect Bawa. The owner and the staff is very nice. It felt like staying at a friends house. Recommends. You should also take a short taxi tour to Bawas house and museum, it's great!

This Small family owned hotel is very special, traditionally decorated with clean spacious rooms located in a quiet street. Hotel boasts a courtyard, rooftop area a pool table and lap pool in the centre of hotel. The hotel's Chef Nimish's food breakfast and dinners were a standout! He is only 21 and very talented. Recommend for single travellers, couples and...

Stayed for 2 nights straight after international flight. The accommodation was beautiful and the twin room ideal for 2 friends sharing. I couldn't believe how quiet it was given the busy road a mere few minutes walk away! Tuk tuks are easy to find at the end of the road and there is also a little supermarket. Colombo Fort train...
