The rooms are simple, just one or two beds and bedside tables; mine was spacious. The bathroom was clean and spacious. They have towels and soap. With AC. The breakfast was simple (bread, eggs, tea; unfortunately, no fruit), but enough to start well a new day. The youngest owner speaks a nice English. They know persons from the Fergana Valley,...

The owners of Gulnara B&B were so kind to welcome me to their place just after midnight. The private room that I stayed in was fantastic and the bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was included - cheese, eggs, delicious bread and a choice of coffee/green/black tea. The courtyard was great to relax and enjoy breakfast. It's located near the Chorsu...

Very helpful staff Manager speaks English Near to Metro and Market. The is a minimum store and a good restauraunt where locals eat up the road. Breakfast of yoghurt, bread and eggs was included. Spotlessly clean. I would stay here again. Not many inexpensive places in town where you can get a single room! The courtyard is a relaxing place...

There are not that many cheap guesthouses or hostels in Tashkent, so this is probably your best option! The courtyard is een good place to relax and meet other travellers. The breakfast is included and pretty good. The guesthouse is nearby the Chorus bazaar. Tip: Walk left from the guesthouse entrance - at the end of the street (across the...

I stayed at the Gulnara for two days at the end of a rather stressful visit to Tashkent. They couldn't have been kinder to me, helping me with passport difficulties and then making sure I got to the airport okay in the middle of the night. My room was spotless and quiet, with a big bathroom and very steamy nice...

I stayed here for the last 2 nights in Uzbekistan. I was given a clean, comfortable twin room with private bathroom. The family are friendly and helpful people. They provided good services. The guesthouse has a very good location, just few minutes to Chorsu Bazaar, a minute to a supermarket and a bus stop where I took bus no.11 to...

Perfect budget choice! Clean rooms, very friendly/helpful staff (came and met me and showed the way to the B&B and helped to book airport transfer) and good breakfast. Located on a quite residential street, very good location close to Chorsu Market and Khast Imam Mosque.

I stayed at Gulnara for one night on a brief stop in Tashkent. My impression is split between an average/fair room in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Nothing special, but it copes well with what a budget traveller looks for. And the courtesy of the staff: while guidebooks sell you this place as a family run endeavour, where you will...

Tashkent does not have many cheap b&bs or hostels, so if you are travelling on a budget make sure to book in advance! We didn't and instead of a dorm bed we got a twin bedroom for 23 euros each. This was way above our budget, but as everything was full and because of the registration policy in Uzbekistan we...

Good overall B&B with friendly staff and a good breakfast (though most B&Bs in Uzbekistan seemed to have a good breakfast). Staff provided good, honest advice and didn't try to hawk tours or taxis. Rooms were clean and air conditioning kept them cool. Only things I would say are: WiFi was a bit slow (once again, common in Uzbekistan) and...
