We stayed at the Osmanhan Hotel for 1 night. We didn't arrive till late and left very early. The staff were very accommodating and gave good advice for somewhere to eat. The English speaking member of staff came in early in the morning so that he could order us a taxi to the ferry port. They gave us sandwiches to...

Stayed here at the end of 2016 with a friend on a stop off on our way to Cyprus. The hotel was ideally situated for sightseeing in Istanbul and we received a very friendly welcome from all the staff. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel. The people working there are very polite, friendly, helpfull. Just great! The room is very nice and de price is very convinient. Though.. If I may give one point of feedback, if you have an advertisement for a free transfer/pick up from the airport, don't charge it afterwards for 30 euro's for a single way. This is the...

We stayed at Osmanhan Hotel for 4 days and had a very pleasant stay. Great location, wonderful views from the rooftop terrace, clean, comfortable, and one of the best Turkish breakfasts we've ever had. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with an amazing view of the Bosphorus where an exceptional breakfast is also served. Our room was so clean and...

I had really pleasure to stay at Osmanhan Hotel once more during my business trip. The quality of service and hospitality are for more better year over year. What I love the most about this place is the nice breakfast with the beautiful bosphorous view as shown in the photo :-) ... You shall not be hesitating to book :-)

We had the pleasure of staying at the Osmanhan hotel for 4 days at the beginning of December2016. The hotel sent a car to pick us up at the airport. We were greeted with turkish tea and coffee when we arrived and immediately felt comfortable and welcome. The trip ended with us being driven to the airport by one of...

Really pleasant place 10 minutes from theBlue Mosque, the main bazaar, and Agia Sophia and around the corner from very good restaurants and rug shops. The staff is friendly and helpful. Only down side are the steep stairs, but they've happy to carry your luggage.

After staying in three different parts of Turkey (all exceptional!), I have to say that staying at Osmanhan was the highlight of our stay. When my friend and I (two American women) arrived at Osmanhan, we were warmly greeted by Cengiz at the front desk. He provided us with maps, recommendations, and a transportation card to load money onto/use during...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
