Convinced by the reviews in New York Times, Conde Nast and others we booked her for 4 nights couple stay. Not disappointed! Huge deluxe suites with maybe the best bathroom I have ever experienced on a hotel. A small drawback that it was 1st floor and they turned off the air conditioning. Windows can not be securely locked when open....

The Tomtom Suites is a great boutique hotel in the heart of Istanbul. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave their service is impeccable. The front desk team go out of their way to help you with directions, restaurant recommendations and any special needs that you have. The afternoon manager (Nural) even designed his own map to...

Travelling solo and visiting Istanbul for the first time for a wedding - Tom Tom suites was amazing! When other guests from the wedding came to visit, they wished they'd chosen Tom Tom suites too! The location was fabulous for me. Not in the tourist area of the Sultenhamet, but across the bridge in a much lovelier and quiter area....

We had a first time stay, due to Slh affiliation, for a single night. Location is perfect for my interest in Istanbul and a short walk (uphill though) to Istiklal caddesi and Taksim. The hotel is charming and beautyfully decorated from the first step inside and people is warmly wellcoming and pampering guests. We had a inner room, actually a...

The TomTom suites hotel is a wonderful place to stay, situated in the Beyoglu area of the city which is a fascinating, lively neighbourhood with interesting shops and restaurants and great for people watching. On arrival we were greeted warmly and given an in depth rundown of the must-see places, the transport system and restaurant suggestions. The room was amazing...

We stayed here for 6 nights in early September. Aside from the wonderful location, wonderful rooms, fabulous breakfasts and impeccable service I also want to mention on of the Front Desk Staff. His name was Nural and a more helpful person one could not hope to meet. What a fantastic ambassador he is for not only the hotel but Istanbul.

We stayed at Tomtom for four days and it was a terrific base for exploring Istanbul. It is located down a side street and the location was great because it was quiet at night but close enough to get where we needed to go. Our rooms were very large and more than comfortable. Breakfast was included in our room pricing...

TomTom Suites is a truly lovely hotel: located in a quiet street near the busy Istiklal Street shops and restaurants. It used to be a Franciscan nunnery but there is nothing austere about the level of comfort or decoration. It has its own individual style with spacious rooms: very comfortable beds and seating areas and immaculate marble bathrooms. The top...

My wife and I stayed at Tomtom for the last four nights of our honeymoon in October. It was a truly amazing way to end our honeymoon. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect -- just a few minutes away from some great restaurants/shopping/etc. in Beyoglu. And finally, the people were amazing. In particular, Nural...

The hotel is beautiful, simply, yet elegantly appointed in every way. Each and every detail of our stay was carefully considered long before our arrival. We travel a good bit, and find hotels on the whole are mostly homogenous. Such is not the case of TomTom Suites. The staff was exceptional in every instance, graciously catering to our many inquiries....

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
