I never have wrote reviews but feel it's important on this occasion. Below is a list of reasons why I would not come again! Rude and unwelcoming staff at reception Flooded toilet Door does not close to the toilet and gets jammed! Water in the fridge not replenished Stale cake at breakfast Very dated and old hotel Old furniture in...

Other people's reviews on this hotel put me off of this hotel but to be honest some people are very hard to please! Lovely hotel, lovely pool, lovely room, lovely breakfast, nice helpful people and would definitely go there again. Free aircon, free WiFi nothing wrong with the location for the price we paid. Easy access to tramway and metro...

Our room was advertised as a three proper bed room but we ended up with a room with two beds and a makeshift bed which was not great. Our shower was really nice and powerful but would flood our bathroom anytime we used it. The breakfast was ok but nothing special, they aren't very good at replacing empty buffet trays...

Recent family holiday included 4 days in Istanbul - beautiful experience. We stayed 4 nights bed and breakfast at the Zagreb Hotel. The staff were very pleasant and responsive to any issues we had. On arrival we were shown to our adjacent rooms as requested. However our en suite was not clean, when I advised the porter he apologetically offered...

Actually I don't know who has given 4 stars to this hotel. + : nothing to say, but maybe the breakfast and the air conditioner of the rooms. - : Verry disappointing at the time of arrival. Very unfriendly even rude staff. The rooms are old, tiny & dirty. The bathroom gives impression of being so untidy and contaminated. Our...

The rooftop pool is the main attraction here. Too bad the water was cloudy for two days. And the pool attendant kicked me out for sitting and reading up there because "You must be swimming." Most of the staff were very grouchy and unfriendly. The breakfast was a great spread. The rooms were tiny. They were remodeling 4/5 of the...

Very central, shops and Grand Bazaar so close. Helpful staff, especially one of the the receptionists, who checked me in , for my return flight, and printed document. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels and toiletries replaced every day. Hairdryer and fridge in room. Would definitely return... Thank you so much.

Good value for money, friendly staff, lovely pool, sauna, steam and Turkish bath. Had an amazing massage and fabulous buffet breakfasts. Tram, metro, grand bazaar all close by. The rooms are smallish but perfectly functional, who wants to come to such a fabulous city and then spend all their time in their room? My 2nd stay and I loved it.

For the 3rd time even more lucky. This little hotel keeps calling us back. On arrival they greeted us as if we were long lost friends. The kettle for making coffee was already in our room and extra cups as they know by now we drink a lot of coffee. The staff was so friendly, the breakfast superb and the...

We didn't like this hotel quite that much as it suffered from tlc syndrome. The staff were hospitable but sounded a slight bit arrogant. However, I must say they were kind to pack us some breakfast for an early morning flight.

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
