Not sure I agree with many of the recent reviews for this place. As someone has said in a previous post what you are being provided with is an apartment & not a full service hotel so once you have paid for your accommodation on arrival (cash in Euros which is not convenient for all) you are pretty much on...

My friend and I spent 4 days in 4floors, We both were not big fan of hotels and 4floors was just the right place for us, Very cozy, amazing decoration, great smell of wood all over the house. Amazing Host ( Murat ) who was so helpful and nice to us all the time, introducing best places to eat and...

The appartments of the 4floors are lovely designed. The eye for detail and material in the historical house is very nice. In the area of the big street Istiklal and the Galata tower this place became our homebase for 10 days. We enjoyed the beauty, comfort, peace and the nice welcome! Each morning we had a nice view over the...

Staying at the 4floors made my experience in Istanbul even more special. It is located at the end of a tiny alley, off the very busy street of Istikal, which makes it a small heaven of peace right at the heart of Beyoglu. the The area around it is perfect for a walk, and has many cafes/restaurants/bars so is always...

Me and my wife stayed in 4floors's penthouse for a week between 17th and 24th September. The location is great and the designer (Sema Topaloglu) is a genius. If I'll have the possibility to have the house of my dreams I would like to have exactly that kind of house. In addition the Location Manager (Murat Topaloglu) was extremely kind...

4Floors Istanbul is a wonderful apartment/hotel. It's beatifully designed, comfortable, and perfectly located just a little ways down the hill from Istiklal Street in the exciting Beyoglu area. I stayed the first two nights in the penthouse, which has two floors, the top floor being floor to ceiling windows and an open terrace with amazing views of the Bosporus. The...

We originally wanted to stay at 4Floors, an architectural gem in the city. Unfortunately, it was completely booked and we opted to rent an apartment through the management folk at 4Floors and it was just as stunning, located steps away. 4Floors and the close by apartment are a 15 minute walk to city sites and if you opt to take...

Very large rooms with nice furniture and Bosporus view. Compared to normal hotel rooms at that price level you are getting much more space and it's excellent for a relaxed city trip. Very close to nice restaurants, bars, cafés and shops. Only drawback: it's a bit clairaudient (you can hear some noise from the other rooms).

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
