Orhan and Ali : What can I say but Thank you for your kind gestures. We arrived at the hotel at about 7am and was treated to a FREE breakfast and within 2 hours our room was ready. We had a small balcony which was an added bonus and the location was excellent. The location was around the corner from...

The location is very good, near Taksim square and next to a metro station. The room was nice, wifi was very slow. AC doesn't work in our room, so it was too hot to sleep well, we told the reception twice but nothing has happened.

Hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Taksim square and Istiklal street, surrounded with hundreds of bars and restaurants. Is is close to a metro staton leading to the historic part of the city. The hotel itself is s bit old, rooms are small bit it is OK for a citybreak. So- great location, average hotel but recommended if you...

We had more than expected. The room was very good and really clean, and for the price was a big deal. The staff was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Good turkish breakfast quality. The location is just perfect. We will definitely go back.

I visited Istanbul for a business trip, that's why i chose Pera hotel, because of the location. Pera hotel is located in the centre of Istanbul and that's why the noise level is loud. The rooms were OK and clean but the wi-fi was horrible. Service was fine and the personnel was quite helpful. I suggest Pera hotel only for...

Stayed at this hotel with my husband at the beginning of the month for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much as we needed constant help with the tv to get American channels and the iron every morning. Our room was on the 6th floor which was great as it had a balcony. We were...

There are no non-smoking rooms even if they say so! We asked for a non-smoking room and when we arrived the door and windows were open, open to make the smoke go away. What a joke!!!! The photo they are showing is the De Luxe room on the 8th floor, relativly big. The rest of the rooms are very small,...

Nothing is good about this place! Non-smoking rooms will have what it feels like a direct duct with smoke coming into the room! The smell was so disgusting that neither my husband or I were able to sleep, and got up as if we had gone out to a club all night.. The shower was smaller than small, it was...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.

“Upper floor rooms are riccomandable because Istambul is generally very loud. There are only 2 rooms with view on the 6th floor, if these are occupied, I'd riccomand rooms in the back side of the htel as they are a bit larger quieter and darker for a better sleep. Windows have no shutter nor thik curtains: bring with you a blindfold or you'll wake up with the sun.”
