Agora Life was everything and more of what we expected for our allocation in Istambul. Great location, the hotel is very clean, rooms are comfortable and well decorated, the service is very good and the view from the terrace is amazing. We rarely write reviews but Agora Life Hotel diserves it!

On our way to Europe, my wife and I spent 4 days at the Agora Life Hotel, Istanbul. It is a smaller, boutique hotel, very closely situated to all the main tourist viewing spots in the old city. We rated it 10/10 for its type and style of hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and informative. The rooms, although smaller,...

Me and my husband just came back from a 5 day holiday in Istanbul where we stayed at the Agora Life Hotel. We rarely write reviews about hotels we've stayed at, however in this case I felt that we should share our thoughts as we received such excellent service at Agora LIfe. There's one person in particular that deserve special...

A friend and I stayed at the Agora Life in July 2012 and greatly enjoyed it. We got a standard room and it was modern, clean and comfortable, if a bit small. The location is great, as mentioned---extremely close to the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, and Basilica Cistern, which helped ensure that we saw a lot during our short...

My wife and I stayed at the Agora Life in July 2012. The location was very good. A short walk to the Grand Bazaar, and even closer to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The staff was very helpful for booking cabs and giving directions. Free Internet! Breakfast wasn't amazing. Would stay again.

A great location (for people who don't mind a short walk). It is only a short walk down one street to get to the main square and an easy above ground metro ride to the other sights. Our room wasn't quite as large as the pictures online had me thinking, but it had an amazing view of Hagia Sophia right...

We stayed 3 nights at this very conveniently located hotel. It is within walking distance of the hamam's, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and private. The view from the roof top terrace is spectacular, and a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee. Our balcony offered a view of the Hagia Sofia. The...

Very nice hotel, great location in the old part of the city, Sultanahmet, near the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and all the most interesting sites to visit. The staff is very thoughtful, they helped pretty much with everything we needed. We felt vey welcome. It's a small but very professional hotel. The rooms were comfortable and there's fruit and water...

I chose to stay at the Agora Life Hotel with my parents for our 1 week stay in Istanbul last week. I chose it based on location, cost, helpful and timely correspondence with the manager Mr. Kadir Cikan, and other traveller reviews posted before me. It turned out to be an excellent choice for so many reasons and we were...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
