The only nice thing about this hotel is the pictures on the web. We were offered a room in the basement which smelled awful and was dirty. We left the following day after my worst hotel experience ever. We booked into Aprilis Gold Hotel nearby. Very nice and trip was saved.

Booked a room here, worst design ever, it looks nothing like the photos, you will be catfished. Stayed 2 days and had enough, the staff especially RISHAT were extremely rude and threatened to kick me and my Mom out just because there were 2 drunk ladies above our room and we complained about the noise They put us in the room next to a restaurant we got woken up everyday 7:30am by the cook and by all the guests who kept coming in and out, the lifts are so old and noisy, the rooms are like paper thin walls you can hear absolutely everything. This country is beautiful but the people are greedy for money and dont look after it, the staff at the reception are so stuck up dont smile dont say hi, you need help they dont give you, instead like Rishat did to me we got shouted at. Stay away from this hotel this is a very very very bad hotel, Unclean showers, rubbish breakfast, you get salami bread tomatos for breakfast the same things no cereal no toast or even milk its horrible, I wanted a refund but they did NOT give it to me. Stay clear of this hotel NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE HORRIBLE UNHELPFUL STAFF

Highly disappointed and feel scammed. Very very dirty place. This Hotel would not meet any international star rating at all. This hotel should get negative stars only. 1. We arrived and waited ages until someone opened the door, the entrance was closed and there was no one at the reception. 2. We received a tiny little room in its worst condition. I've travelled to many third world countries and slept in the army in a tent, but this was not even good for animals. 3.We booked a room for 2. He gave us a little room with one bed, which was very little for two. Even I was willing to pay more for a bigger room, but he didnt helped us. 4. We went straight to breakfast, very bad food qulity very poor. NOW THE WORST PART<, THEY TOLD US TO CLEAN UP OUR TABLE AND TAKE THE DISHES TO THE KITCHEN. The lady who prepared the food also cleaned up at the same. We straight left the Hotel and didnt stay there a night. They refused to give us our breakfast and claimed we havent paid, so I proofed with my booking confirmation that breakfast was inlcuded. Honestly, I highly recommend to not stay at this Hotel. Rude staff, dirty , bad manners, disgusting. Avoid it. It does not look anywhere near the pictures they published.

The rooms are very dirty. The bathrooms also is dirty and the smell is bad. The laundry on the beds was dirty. I don t recomend this hotel. The "sea view" it s a joke! The only good thing was the parking man who speak only turkish, but he keep our car safe :)

This hotel should be called so, neither for the service, nor the rooms. We got "no view" room as we had to stay for 2 nights (we were leaving at 3 am another night), but what we got was basement room, with no window, no ventilation, dirty smelly room, with dents in the walls, just disgusting. For the staff "no view" (which we presumably thought was no view to the sea or the beatiful part of the street), meant no window and rooms with molds. We requested either full refund or upgrade, but they were not cooperative, did not offer a room for the first night, offered just for another when we were leaving (3 am). As the booking was done through the agency, paid in full, refund was not possible. Then they offered another room, a bit better, but we prefered not to use any of the sheets and towels, they were all torn, with stains, and greyish instead of white. Even if you book economy room, it should be clean and look like a decent place for humans to stay. So if you want to enjoy the city - which I had done several times before, never ever go to this place, which is falling apart and the staff is uncooperative. They should not have the rooms in the basement at all, even for the service staff. I am quite sure that the "better rooms" would have been disappontment as well, as I saw the quality of "new sheets and towels" just brough in from the laundry - that was disgusting!

I have noticed that an overall grade for this hotel remains high, which is misleading, but most of the recent reviews are negative. So, it tells, that, perhaps, the management went down at some point. Many of the issues could have been dealt with better under different management. The positives were: The location is great, blocks away from the heart of Sultanahmet. The bed linens were clean. Air conditioner worked and so did wi-fi. Now to negatives: Two out of the three rooms were not ready for our arrival even as we arrived at 7 in the evening. It was almost like they did not expect to see us. So, some guys were sent to clean the rooms and it took time. We were after 10 hours drive, so this delay mattered. One of the rooms we booked was advertised as a "street view", but what it had was a window facing a concrete wall within inches of that window. So, yes, some light was available, but definitely no view. In two of the rooms the toilet was not flushed. All rooms lacked blankets and towels. I had to remind to bring those in several times before it was done. The TV in my room did not work, but I did not bring this issue up even. One room lacked a TV remote control. We have been promised a secure private parking, but our car ended up staying right out in the street, and yet we were charged for the parking. We did not take the breakfast there, but it is served in a different hotel across the street.

There is no comparison at all with images on their website and in reality. We were really getting really bad, it was dirty, running water out of the toilet, the climate doesn't even work at all, that was dust and we called them before we left, but they re the answer to us.
