Stayed after xmas. Rooms well heated n nicely decorated. Rooms of hotel decor but in block of flats. Breakfast buffet rudimentary n just less than 10 tables available n most of them is in the waiting lounge. The owners were helpful n courteous. Had a moody guy on our last morning when asked him if we could leave our suitcases... More

5 nights 5th to 9th Nov. Twin Room. Booked as secret hotel via Last Minute.com If you arrive at night & have to take a taxi into Istanbul I can guarantee the taxi driver will struggle to find the hotel - so beware. But - by Metro/Tram it couldn't be much easier, get the metro to the main intersection at... More

I booked this hotel through Lastminute.com's 'secret hotel' deal, and I can honestly say their description was totally misleading!! This hotel is not a 'luxury boutique', it is not 'stylish', it is bog standard and not very clean. The toilet in the room was dirty on arrival and not cleaned through the stay, the toilet in the lobby was so... More

After many years, for a family reunion, I came from San Francisco to this hotel to spend time with my parents, my brother and my niece for ten days in September. We all had an awesome experience in here. The first reason for choosing this place was the good reviews read in this website but when I talked to the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and loved it! Our room was spacious and super clean! They gave us a corner room so it had lots of light. The breakfast definitely needs work. Which is unfortunate, b/c everything else was wonderful about this hotel. The hotel has everything you need. Wi-fi, minibar, a/c and even had a... More

Angelos Home Hotel is a small place away from the noisy crowds but definitely in the centre of old town of Istanbul. The people working there are very kind and helpful. It is easy to find this place from both airports of Istanbul. They have clean rooms. It was a pleasure to stay here. We were all very satisfied. Do... More

The staff were polite and helpful, the room was good and well cleaned, we believe that the porter could not have been more helpful, free internet was a good speed. All was perfect. The breakfast room is a bit small and when you have to sit outside, sometimes, you are surrounded by cats which for me was a little uncomfortable.... More

Excellent staff, one of our two rooms was great (2nd floor) the other was spoiled by the smell from the bathroom of "sewer" smells (4th floor) and the fact that we had to be very careful when showering or the bathroom floor would be swimming in water. We couldn't fault the staff, they were all brilliant, even the ones that couldn't speak English,did... More
