Our stay at the Hotel was absolutely awful. None of the staff could speak english, and deliberately spoke in Turkish, knowing we could not understand the language. They went out of their way to avoid conversation and most of the time, their tone was quite rude. In addition to that, we had purchased a painting which was STOLEN from our...

Senator Hotel is a small but a complete hotel in a good budget. Location is superb. very near to Taksim square and Metro station. We reached there late night and immediately got the roomn as the check-in facilities did not take much time. Hotel staff was too good and friendly. Breakfast was good too. Infact, I should certainly consider it...

The first thing that I love about the hotel is the location. Its hardly 100 mtrs from the main taksim square so if this is your first visit to istanbul look no further than taksim for cafes restaurants street bazaars and the galata tower. You can also use their services to tour the city. The hotel is only 3 years...

Very helpful personnel especially Mr Evren. Available free wifi with no problems. Location is perfect( taksim square wich is the center of istanbul ). Room was air conditioned and clean (as expected). The hotel is close to the metro station as well as the bus station (airport and local buses). It was a wonderful experience. Can't wait to be back.

We have stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. I will start with the positive point which is location. this hotel has perfect location. just 2 mins away (walking) from Istiqlal street (the vibrant street that never sleeps). however, lots of hotels are as close as this hotel. Room service is good. Compared to 4* hotels we have stayed in...

The hotel is about 50 metres from Taksim square. The moment you walk into the hotel lobby you feel good about the place. The staff is extremely friendly and warm. The rooms are reasonably spacious. Spent 3 nights there and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The breakfast spread is ok.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
