Love this hotel for its location, friendly staff, beautiful non-smoking rooms and courtyard. I got a room with garden view and it was very pleasant and quiet. I like the "homestay" feel of their dining area and that they allow us to get ourselves a hot drink from their beverage machine for free. Free wi-fi was great. Thanks to all...

Stayed at Sarnic for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is situated in the old part of town and is walking distance to many of the major sights to visit in Istanbul. The staff were very helpful and hospitable. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The only warning is that it's near a mosque so you may...

Great location, great food and super comfortable beds. Breakfast was perfect for Istanbul. I just wish they started breakfast earlier. The staff were nice. I will come back here to stay again next time. My family loved it. Getting around was easy by foot and we never needed taxi or tram. You really can not go wrong with the hotel...

This hotel was perfect. My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights from Tues 3rd July and we couldn't fault it. We were greeted immediately by a friendly receptionist and we were shown our rooms by a nice gentleman who carried our bags there. The room was very clean and the location was perfect with a view of the...

Excellent location in the old Sultanahmet historic part of Istanbul. Clean rooms, nice terrace, good breakfast. Friendly staff, very good service. Poor menu in the restaurant. However, due to future plans for the restaurant and changes in the menu, this also looks promising.

We had a wonderful, spacious room with a view of Blue Mosque. Friendly staff - good selection at breakfast which can be taken in peaceful garden courtyard. We were cheerfully met at the airport with no-charge car to hotel. We also had the convenience and safety of hiring the hotel car to visit distant attractions as well as for return...

I went with a friend last month.. The staff in hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. Not only would they guide us in right directions, but also make bookings and arrange transport for our convenience. All major tourist spots are in five minute walking distance. We had a great time.

This hotel is situated within walking distance of major sites, good shopping and dining. The rooms are small but well appointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Take the cooking lesson offered. It was a highlight of our trip. The breakfasts are very good. You'll enjoy eating out in the garden or just sitting and enjoying a drink. We'd...

We stayed here June 04-07 and was expecting more. The hotel is in a good location and is within a few minutes walk from everying you need. There are plenty of resturants, cafes and bars all within 100m of the front door. The Blue Mosque is literally a two min walk from the hotel and our room had a view...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your positive and negative comments about our hotel. We had a problem with receiver, we are really sorry for that. The problem with shower has been fixed. When you were here we told the company but they came to fix it after 3 days. To be honest there is no problem with WiFi. The signals...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
