This is a boutique hotel on the Bosphorus housed in an 165 year-old building. Consequently, rooms are very stylish with parts of the original marble floors still evident in some parts of the staircase. Great amenities including an espresso machine, a fantastic shower and the most comfortable bed I have slept in in any hotel for a while now. The...

Istanbul is a very big city and I stayed in several very nice hotels (Karakoy, Nisantasi,...) and my absolute favorite was the HouseHotel Bosphorus. Whaoou! - It's very close to the Bridge that connects Europe and Asia. - Lively place: Super nice House Café. It's exactly my style casual but very refined. You'll love it. I don't know what to...

Ideally located on the banks of Bosphorus, The House hotel gets full marks for its location. The rooms facing the Bosphorus get a beautiful view of the Bosphorus bridge, the strait, the magnificent mosque and the square where the Bosphorus ferries depart. One should always plan a one night stay in this hotel to give you an early morning, evening...

Great stay here in Istanbul atthat marvelous place. Excellent service, perfect location and the singing Muezzin at sunrise makes it very authentic. Due to the fact it's an old osmanic building, rooms are small, but very nice furnished. Would come again.

We had a great stay at this wonderful hotel. The highlight was having breakfast with the beautiful Bosphorus as a backdrop. The Bosphorus bridge and restaurants are at walking distance. Great scenery, very nice and super attentive staff. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Well it was my first time alone in Istanbul and I couldn't be happier about my stay. The view is great, the rooms are beautiful and the service is very kind and friendly. The room service costs extra but they won't come in if you take your "don't disturb" shield on your door. I highly recommend this hotel, I will...

The staff at The House Hotel Bosphorus left no stone unturned. Taxi awaiting our arrival at the airport. Immaculate check-in process and sea facing room furnished to very high standards. The hotel is located right next to the Harbour mosque (see picture) so expect an, albeit brief, alarm call / call to prayer.

a great hotel in an amazing location, rooms are a bit small and you should try and get a room with a view to the water, the staff are sweet and nice and did there best to make you feel at home. I love the ability to walk around the hotel and get to see things.

Staying in Besiktas

Neighbourhood Profile
Besiktas
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
