I stayed for 3 wks, working on a training program we held at the hotel. I was totally blown by how Immaculately clean they keep the place. The staff is very courteous, and extremely accommodating. Room service top notch. I must mention Gultan the lady who cleaned my room efficiently. I really appreciated the Xmas decoration considering it´s a predominantly...

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is clean & comfortable & the staff are reasonably helpful. Location is good with a tram stop just around the corner or you can walk into the old town (approx 1500m). The rooms are a bit small & soundproofing isn't great. We were disturbed by traffic noise but this may be less of...

We stayed 4 nights here 7-10 July, 2014. Firstly, the staff need to be fluent in English as, except for one duty manager, the others hardly spoke English. We had booked 2 triple sharing rooms but had to request for a change as one room could barely accommodate 2 persons! Our Son's suitcase was delayed so it was meant to...

We stayed at the Amethyst for 3 nights at the beginning of a group bus trip. The hotel is centrally located to old Istanbul and rooms facing the street certainly have a street view, although one of the group had a view of the air conditioning units outside her window. Location is within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and...

This is a small hotel in a fantastic location near the Grand Bazaar and tram line. I travelled with a group (Bunnik Tours from Adelaide - highly recommended) so our tour guide dealt with desk staff etc. Other staff we came into contact with were friendly. We only had breakfasts at the hotel and there was a very delicious selection....

I stayed at the Amethyst twice during my trip to Turkey. We arrived early in the morning from Toronto and had to wait about an hour for our room. The desk staff weren't that friendly but we eventually got into our room. The room itself was small but well appointed. We had everything we needed. We went to the pool...
