Upon arrival, the AC was turned on at 30 degrees when it wasn't even cold outside. For some reason, we couldn't control the temperature and had to turn it off. When we called reception for help, the dude came up angry, open the window and gave us a look that meant "where is the big deal if you just open...

1 min a walk from Taskim square and Istiklal avenue. So great location for everything: shopping, transporation, restaurants, bars & nightclubs. Staff was nice and helpful. Don't choose the economy room as most of them are small. I had a small issue with the bathroom but nothing bad. The breakfast area is wonderful with a great view on the square...

It shouldn't be a 4 stars hotel. Don't choose the Economy Rooms. They are too small. you can't even walk in the room. Showers are not so good. Sauna was out of order. The Crew barely speaks English, but the restaurant was not bad with a great view. At least, the location is great, close to Taksim square and Istiklal street.

The location is very nice, close to Taksim square and Istiklal street with many tourist attractions and outdoor activities, but the rooms are not clean, especially room floor is very dirty. Other things are Ok.

The room was fine, bed really comfortable and air conditionair available! WIFI also pretty good! Shower stands under water after taking a quick one! Sauna was out of order! We wanted to use the Turkish bath, but did not even get an explanation how to use it! There is definetely a need of English, but the Crew barely speaks English....

The location is excellent, but otherwise, this is a very poor quality hotel. The rooms are very small (the ones they display on their website as "standard" are not the ones you get for the basic price, for which you get the "economic" rooms), ours had a very bad cigarette smell and had the lights in the entrance not working....

A new hotel so everything is still new, very clean. Workers are helpful and nice. Breakfast with a good view. Oh and note that the double room with one bed is very very veryyy small. So you should take no more than two (not so big) luggages. Location is really good and so close to Taksim square.

My girlfriend made the reservations as she loved the location. I was skeptical - When travelling I like comfort. The rooms are so small - I had to make a choice between me in or luggage. Elevator is like a doll house elevator. I think it should be noted that the rooms are small. We checked out and went to...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
