The staff are friendly and helpful. We got a free sauna session on arrival which was a good bonus. The location is unbeatable. The rooms are as you'd expect, clean and comfortable. I didn't think the breakfast was particularly tasty but there's a good range to choose from. Overall excellent, would stay there again.

The Arden Park Hotel is a very comfortable hotel located just a couple of hundred metres away from from all the major attractions of Sultanahmet. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished and while small our room was very comfortable, very clean and more than adequate for our needs during our stay. Staff are friendly and efficient; check-in was...

We stayed at this hotel in December 2012 for one week. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Ahy who took care of all our needs. The hotel is in an excellent location two blocks away from Hajja Sophia and at walking distance from all the wonderful sites in the Sutanahmet area. The area is very...

When we arrived at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised. The lady at the reception, Ahu is her name, welcomed us and checked us in. Very friendly women and always in for a chitchat, helpfull and good advice. The hotel is small, the rooms also, but that makes it even more cozy and romantic. The bed was very comfortable and...

This is a really nice place to stay, just va couple of minutes' walk from Sultan Ahmet Square with Aya Sofya and the Blue Mosque. The room was samll but eminently functional with an immaculately clean en suite bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful and the continental-style breakfast featured breads, cheeses, cold cuts, cereal, yoghurts and fresh fruits served from...

I booked this hotel using Expedia 40% discounted service, which is similar to hotwire service. The rooms are very small, the elevator is ridiculously tiny, and the free breakfast is the worst I ever had. On the good side, the hotel has a great location close to Hagya Sophia and Turkish Baths. The bathroom was very clean, and the reception...

We booked a double room but had instead a large bed (still small if you are more than 1.80m), and an extra bed (the one you can fold in two). They could not change us the first night but offer to change the extra bed to one normal, small size... which was not done at the end. The breakfast was...

Last week myself and my partner had the misfortune to have booked to stay at Arden Park Hotel Istanbul for 4 nights. We arrived at around 11pm and initial impressions were positive, with helpful night reception staff. However, then unfortunately we encountered our room. arden Park is well located in Sultanahmet area, near Hagia sophia, Blue Mosque and the underground cisterns are on the same street. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
