Very friendly staff and wonderful panoramic views over the sites of Istanbul. Menu mostly Turkish with an excellent selection of fresh fish. Baklavas are a must. Try to catch a call to prayer as the mosques collaborate with each other to produce a very haunting sound.

Well worth a visit, we were looked after very well, being two women on our own, spacious room with a magnificent view. Comfortable bed, nothing was too much trouble. Will stay there again. Thank you seven Hills for a wonderful three days.

Wonderful location close to historic sites to visit. The staff are very helpful and will do what they can to make your visit to Istanbul enjoyable. The restaurant on the terrace is outstanding with delicious fish dishes and an amazing view. Our bedroom was very comfortable. Great value.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights in late August 2016. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, but that is very common in all Istanbul hotels. This hotel's key selling proposition is its views from Suites on 4th floor. Its not the cheapest in Istanbul but it worth every penny that you spend.

One of the best hotels we have been to in our recent trip to Turkey. We are a family of three with a small child. The staff at the hotel were really polite and always willing to solve any issues whatsoever. The rooftop restaurant is one of the best in Istanbul. Breakfast had a lot of options. Location was perfect... More

Beautiful room, beautiful view, perfect location, kind reception and great breakfast! No more than 15 min walk to most of the great sights. Located just behind the Aya Sofia and 100m from the Arasta Bazaar. The rooftop restaurant has excellent food and a FABULOUS view. Lots of dining choices and lovely shops in the neighbourhood.

Okay - you can pay $400+ per night to stay at the Four Seasons, and have similar access to the heart of historical Istanbul. Or you can stay at the Seven Hills, with even better views, enjoy great service, and eat on the rooftop with (absolutely) the best view in town. I've been to Istanbul three times now, and I... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
