This was our first time to Istanbul and we were glad we chose to stay at the Four Seasons. The check in was efficient and attentive. We arrived earlier that the check in time and the hotel had the room almost ready! They offered us a welcome drink (anything from the menu) at the lobby lounge.:) The room was very...

Stayed in Istanbul on our way to Konya. Decided to stay for four nights at Four seasons and what a great experience. The food was great and the rooms were very comfortable. The location is central to the parks and Blue Mosque.

This is the perfect luxury hotel for seeing Istanbul. Right in the heart of Sultanahmet. Built in an old prison. Only downside is there really is no views but it is a great mix of old Turkey and modern hotel. We were in a two-story deluxe suite. Staff is first class - great desk help and concierge.

This hotel is located in the heart of sultanahmet. It is the prefect location to do all the sightseeing as everything is at walking distance. The rooms are wonderful. Their seasons restaurant has great food. And the view from the Aya Rooftop Lounge is amazing. The only negative thing is no pool.

A luxurious oasis, amongst the bustle of this magnificent city. The common areas, rooms are perfect. Food, service, first class. Convenient to the major tourist sites. Something extremely important in a city that lives in perpetual traffic gridlock!! I have stayed here several times!! As well as the Ciragan and its sister property on the Bosporus.

The hotel made everything possible to make our vacation unforgettable. Every single staff member was super friendly, helpful, and knows all the details needed. The room was spacious, elegant, clean, and comfortable. The service was amazing, fast, proper, polite, and super. They clean the room twice a day. They think of every thing and care and manage all the tiny...

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It's beautifully decorated with traditional Turkish crafts and antiques. The walls are colorfully adorned with beautiful tile work. The rooms are an incredible decorative mixture of antique art pieces, muted and soothing colors and sheer comfort. They think of everything you could need. They even have a western style charging station on...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
