It was a very nice place, good food. The crew was very kind. We really loved the breakfast, The view from the roof was beautiful! We had really nice conversation with the owner of the place, and we got very good tips from him about Turkey.

The hotel was really charming. Our room looked excactly like in the picture and was also very clean. Also the beautiful entrance and the hotel lobby looked classy as expected - with free coffee and tea. At first there were some points which led to a first not so great impresson: The coffee was tasting a bit chemical for my...

Angel's Home is a small friendly hotel in a quiet and charming street in the tourist friendly area of Sultanahmet. Very convenient for key attractions: Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi and the Hippodrome which are all adjacent to each other are between 4 and 800 m from the hotel. There is a wide selection of cafes, restaurants, shops, tour agencies...

Angel's Home Hotel was great. Friendly staffs, beautiful view! If you're looking for a big room for honeymoon, probably this is not the place. But if you want somewhere cozy to crash, this is definitely the place you're looking for. Simple and cute! The buffet breakfast served every morning was something to wait for. 😊 The location itself is very...

We just recently spent 3 days at Angel's Home Hotel. Located on a cute street in the Old Town, just steps from the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, the buffet breakfast on the roof terrace, flanked by the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya was fabulous, a great room with many amenities, very clean....

The hotel is in an excellent location and looks very very nice, but the biggest reason for me recommending it is the owner: Hakan helped us not only when we stayed there, but even after we had left and were still in turkey. Definetly a home away from home.

This was our first hotel in Turkey where we went for our honeymoon. A beautiful little hotel behind the Blue Mosque, it had all the ingredients to make our stay unforgettable. Day 1 our luggage got mixed up at the airport and got delayed by a day. The manager at the hotel actually stayed in touch with the airport for...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
