My second visit within 9 months. My first place of choice any day. Very friendly staff always happy to help anytime. Superb breakfast. Clean rooms and very close to the old city. This time I got a room with a superior view -overlooking the sea just by Kennedy Caddesi. As I am a light sleeper - I changed after the...

I chose this hotel based on other Trip Advisor reviews and I was not disappointed. The hotel is very clean with a helpful and friendly staff. It is well-situated, steps away from the Marmara Sea shoreline, and all the main tourist attractions like The Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. The breakfast buffet which is included has a huge selection of...

Room was clean and although not modern, very cute and comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, also provided an adaptor free of charge for a night which some hotels usually charge a fee for. The breakfast was nice and the restaurant/ café is open till midnight, so one night we went there, it was calm and relaxing with great views...

We were forced to move here as their AIRBNB house was un-useable due to water disconnection. Not my first choice, at all, but for 2 nights over the weekend the ARMADA was refreshingly clean and the staff did everything they could to make us feel at home. Would I stay here again? Yes, I might even choose to!

Good Hotel in easy location for the Blue Mosque and and surrounding area. 10 mins walk into the main hub. Sea View room was good... but try and get a full sea view room if you can as partial sneaks a peek into what could be a great view of an amazing sunrise... Hotel has great views on the roof...

I have been staying myself or had my guest stayed probably for the last 10 years. This weekend I was staying again with my Family again. I know Turkey has a lot of problems regarding tourism. The last thing you expect is not having a proper service. It seems, as if, Armada has thrown in the towel. In hard times...

Dear Levent Y, In fact, we haven't "thrown in the towel" yet! On the contrary, as you already pointed out, we have been doing our best to overcome and get out alive from this crisis while preserving our "magic touch"... Within such a critical period of time what most worries us would be losing our loyal, esteemed guests like you....

We selected a traditional hotel in the old part of town in order to immerse ourselves in Turkish culture. Relatively near the airport, delicious breakfast, walking distance to major attractions, excellent staff made this a perfect selection. Fascinating trip!

Very nice staff, convenient location within walking distance of two major tourist magnets! Clean rooms, breakfast little bit lower on options as it used to be when compares with stayings in the past, however still plentiful choices. View feom the terrace is just amazing!

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
