Hotel Arcadia Blue stands out for its prime location, offering guests stunning views and easy access to major attractions, as noted by many reviews. The rooftop dining experience, in particular, is a highlight, complemented by modern amenities and a complimentary minibar that have earned high praise.
While opinions on value differ, with some finding it pricey and others seeing it as reasonable, the hotel consistently receives compliments for its cleanliness and the attentive, friendly service provided by its staff. Although some guests suggest the rooms could benefit from renovations, the breathtaking views and modern features are often celebrated.

Detailed Reviews
I had the pleasure of staying at the Arcadia Blue hotel in Istambul on 5-9september 2020.
Hotel is located two blocks or less to Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque , the cisterna and Topkapi Palace and 5 blocks from the Grand Bazaar. Food is excellent and you take it on the restaurant on the ninth floor with the greatest service and amazing views of the city and the Bosphoro. Hotel is clean, room is big enough with seating area, coffee maker, fridge, safe , desk, comfortable beds and modern elevators. Safety issues all covered , in the restaurant social distances, personnel with masks and gloves, cutlery and dishes sanitized, even Phone and remote are safely checked with covers just for your use Thank you for a wonderful stay . Turkey is the best place to visit now

The check in was smooth and fast. The staff was friendly and catering to our needs and questions. They gave us an upgrade for free with the perfect view of the blue mosque (1st stay). The hotel has a rooftop restaurant where we had complimentary breakfast everyday, is not buffet style so they serve the traditional Turkish breakfast and is pretty much the same every morning. The restaurant that functions at night has a great view of the Bosphorus , the blue mosque and Hagia Sophia, but it’s a little on the pricey side compared to the prices you find around the area. My bill was $115.00 first night with no alcoholic beverages included ( Pricey for Turkey since my other bills with alcohol were $85). The hotel has a prime location, it’s 10 min away from the hyppodrome , Hagia Sophia and the Blue mosque. It’s like 20 -30 min away walking to the spice market and the grand bazaar.Istanbul traffic is very congested, so if you wait for a taxi to take you to the main attractions you will loose half of your day , so make sure you take comfortable shoes since the streets are cobble stones and very uneven. Near the grand bazaar is the sultan Hurrem and the sultan mosque with a beautiful view. I actually stayed in this hotel twice, 4 days first, then when I came back from Cappadoccia I stayed 3 days and I ran to the same problems twice, lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms, luckily I carry bleach wipes everywhere I go and I shower with sandals. Other than that, be ready to be awake at 5:00 am if you are a light sleeper due to the Islamic call completed 5 times a day via very loud speakers 🔊, not from the hotel , but from the mosque. The hotel airport pick up /drop off is way overpriced, $60 one way when you can get a taxi for $21 one way or $350-$400 TL. Unfortunately I can’t upload a video but the picture of the room shown here is accurate.

We decided to go to Istanbul for our honeymoon and found Hotel Arcadia Blue. Its close to the main attractions (Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Galata Tower). The staff were friendly from the front desk, house keeping and the restaurant. They also offer an app for your cell phone for any request and are very quick to respond (also with downloading the app it came with the "free" mini bar in your room). But note for laundry service its cash only and can't be charged.
We booked through Travelocity originally. However, our flight was moved one day earlier. With adding an extension on Travelocity they recalculated our entire trip that we booked 4 months in advance and tried to charge us triple the amount. While looking on the hotels website it was much cheaper and made the decision to cancel Travelocity and book directly on the hotel site.

We were transfered here from another hotel that shut down due to low occupancy during the Covid19 pandemic. The location is between Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque and about 1/2 block from the tram stop. The hotel was remodeled recently
and it looks great. Upon closer inspection the quality of work was substandard. Grout was not removed in corners silicone sealer was missing in spots. The sink did not drain properly and leaked out of the bottom of the cabinet the first night. We called to the front desk and the clerk came up with 2 small bottles of stuff to unblock the drain saying it was an old remodeled building and it happens. I noticed the drain pipe from the sink was a flexible plastic tube. there was a floor drain where i assume the sink drained to. Then 2 days later there was an odor of old standing dirty water in the bathroom, we told the front desk and it seems nothing was done as the odor lasted through the last day we were there. At this point we should have been moved to a different room. When using the shower the water was not contained in the shower and the floor was always wet, the door also showed signs of water damage so it seems to be a regular problem. The housekeeping was hit or miss, there seemed to be no standard or low standards. There was coffee streaks down the wall behind the trash can. Some days we received coffee cups and coffee packets other days we did not. we used the plastic glasses in the bathrooom for wine on our second night and they never were replaced during our 10 day stay. There was dust and crumbs along the wall behind the chair which never did get swept up.The silicone sealer between the tile and sink top in the bathroom was black a good scrubbing and or bleaching was needed. The TV also had no connection to either cable or an antennae, rendering it useless. We had prepaid for the other hotel and payment should have been transfered, but when we checked in we were charged. The next morning we were told that they had been paid by the other hotel and they would be refunding us. When we left it was still unknown whether the refund had been credited to our charge card. The included breakfast was very good and the waiters remembered our order after 2 days. I am not sure if I would stay here if I return to Istanbul.

We originally reserved this hotel for 3 nights. Just 30 minutes after check-in, we decided to leave because the hotel was disgusting (see photos). First, the hotel lobby looked like a 90s government office. It was dark, quiet, and did not exude that of a 4 star hotel whatsoever. Second, the room was dirty and disgusting. It appeared the floors had not been cleaned in weeks, the linens were clammy and dusty, the bathroom fixtures were falling apart, the walls were scuffed/scratched, and the stickers they affixed to the room walls were peeling off. I spent some time cleaning the room to the best of my ability with the resources that I had, and still felt uncomfortable.
We informed reception of our concerns, and were simply told "that sounds like your problem." We immediately booked another hotel and checked out. I asked reception for documentation showing that we had checked-out and we were simply told "no." I later received an e-mail from the "Rooms Division Manager," Can Ozlu, who inquired if there was anything the hotel could have done better. I explained our situation in a constructive manner and received no response.
Bottom line, don't stay at this hotel and keep shopping. There are far better options in Istanbul that will make your time there all the better.

We initially booked for one night but ended up staying for another night because the staff, Cemal, Oguz and Utkan made us feel so welcome. They were so hospitable and friendly and really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The view from our room was incredible, the bed was comfortable and the location of the hotel is perfect if you want to go sightseeing.

We stayed for 2 nights , and our stay was exceptional.
The hotel is highly recomnded , location is excellent near old city and everything can be reached by walking , yet the hotel is in a quite street not in middle of all the noise.
The reception & hotel staff are all friendly and helpfull. The room is clean , good space , with spectacular view to sultan ahmet mousqe and sea .
The breakfast is a set menu of varities cheese and fruits and turkish breakfast with your choice of eggs cooked as you like .
The view from the hotel resturant is the best thing of this stay , dont miss the breakfast at thr roof top and of course take lots of pics as its worth it.
I would stay again in arcadia if i visited again for sure.

Stayed for 4 nights and had two rooms for my family - rooms 601 & 602. One room was a corner room and the other was a room with a view. Although the corner room was larger, the smaller room had the better view. Overall the stay was comfortable, the staff was pleasant, and the location excellent. However, you can tell the hotel is worn down and could use some renovation. The walls were scratched up and dirty, bathrooms need attention, bed sheets even had some tears in them. The breakfast was the worst part of the experience. I understand Covid restrictions were in place but a better variety could have been provided. They bring small plates of a few olives, two slices of cheese, some sausage, and two pieces of fruit and a basket of bread. Juice is extra, Turkish coffee is extra, and every day the same. 2/10 for the breakfast.

A must recommended affordable hotel right in the city center, the view from the hotel is breathtaking and especially from the restaurant which is at the ninth floor. Very friendly staff and especially mr. Cemal at the reception was very humble and supportive whenever needed. Brilliant experience and will definitely recommend everyone else to plan their trip here.
Only downside was the towels - they weren’t that much clean as one would hope for!
Overall 9.5/10!

Went here as part of our honeymoon. Upon arrival we were a little disappointed to be given twin beds despite booking a double - but this is probably the travel agent's fault. Still, the staff did their best to convert things into a double bed which we appreciated. They also sent up a complimentary dessert for the first night as we were on honeymoon. The breakfast here is fantastic, especially the Ajooka paste which I couldn't get enough of, and the views are stunning. Otkan was especially very helpful and helped us sort out our tram pass, as well as book restaurants and provide helpful advice. It is in great location, just a few mins walk from top attraction sites and the tram station. Good, clean and quality hotel, with friendly staff.

Yes, we have an iron available upon request
Thanks. I'm not from the hotel management and I was a guest before. The wifi is great except that you have to log in every time you arrive at the hotel. The password is your passport number. There is a hotel transfer to and from the airport at a very reasonable price. The hotel is centrally located, in Sultanahmet, walking distance to all tourist spots.
Not sure I can read Russian , but it’s a very nice Hotel just walking distance to the Main attractions in Istanbul .
The reception staff Mehmed and Adam are Outstanding!
