This hotel is perfect for travelers who want a location near the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and Topkapi Palace. The hotel is near the top of the hill and overlooks the Bosphorus as well as these three historical sites. The breakfast is served on the top of the hotel and the tables have great views across to the Asian side...

It's location is the best attraction. In addition to it, staff's courteous behaviour and well maintained building is also lucurative for visitiors. Blue Mosque, Ayasophia, Grand bazar, Topkapi Museum all are at walking distance from this place.

From the moment we arived we felt welcome. Has a perfect feel and the people really want to make your stay worth while. Great location right next to Ayasofya. A short walk to the square and a beautifull view over the bosphorus straight. If I come back to Istanbul, and I believe I will, I will stay here again.

Stayed here with my friend for four nights in February. The location is a stone's throw away from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. It's also possible to walk to the Old Bazaar - about 10min walk up the hill. The hotel itself boasts 3 floors of rooms. We were the only guests during our stay (we went in February...

This is definitely a hotel I can recommend. Hotel staff is friendly, competent, quick, polite. I especially enjoyed the family atmosphere. Location of the hotel is central in Sultan Ahmet. Only a few meters to Topkapi palace, blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and a nice area with many pubs, restaurants. Impressive that the hotel is still very peaceful and silent in...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
