Busy old part of Istanbul. Easy walk down to the Golden Horn looking across to the Galata tower or walk the other way for shopping, Topkapi palace and the Blue Misque. Hotel itself is basic, clean and friendly.

Travelers that like to explore off the beaten track will reap big rewards for making the effort to visit this low-key part of town.
