I stayed in (The central palace hotel) between 9th of August and 16th of August, the staff is very friendly and they are very professional, the location is great near the metro station and taxim square around 5 mins walking, plus everything you need is available around the hotel. it's very clean and suitable for everyone. Very recommended.

The hotel is a boutique hotel tucked away a few streets from Taksim square. The location is ideal, close to Istiklal Street and the modern part of Istanbul with loads of wonderful shops and cafes nearby. The decor is ritzy with beautiful pasabahce porcelain throughout the hotel. The rooms with balconies are the best although they are generally for smoking...

This hotel is by far the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed at in a big city - and the value for money is undisputable. I still can't believe they don't charge more! The feeling of luxury is just fantastic, and the quietness in a large and otherwise noisy city like Istanbul is hard to beat. This hotel is...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
